Just found your channel, I have a 2010 Evo X and a 2004 Subaru Wrx. Currently rebuilding my wrx and about ready to get my Evo tuned. Just need to do gauges and downpipe, then it’ll be ready to be tuned. I’m sorry to hear that the car blew up, hopefully you find the right direction you want to go and get it back up and running!
At least your service tech forgot to tighten the oil drain plug on the car. I've been out of my EVO since July 31st, I called and I should have my car back end of the week. I'm getting a brand new motor. EDIT** Have gotten further into video haha
Sorry that happened to you man. I actually dropped my x off at moon the day after you did. I did have a few issues come up but we were able to square them away and my x with fbo and an fp red made 409whp on e54 at 29psi. I really like the way your car looks man I’m glad you are keeping it. I agree with others if you aren’t going to chase big power maybe do a simple build to handle 500whp or sometimes I see some used engines for around 4k. Anyways good luck man eager to see your x back on the road.

@@ChrisDoesCars no me general I'm at 544hp, 387tq stock block E85,and I'm planning to max out safely 6466 precision . I'm in process now of doing just just that,sleeve block, GSC 3cams the works. Dont let people convince yea yea it can do work. You see who left with the shit end of the stick.
Did you sign a weaver for liability if somethings goes during the tune? You'd of thought this would be part of their preliminary checks before tuning..being a tune from scratch its crazy to think its blown before the get go. Sorry for the loss though bro, guess this has set you on the right path now for a greater build 👍🏻

For future you always have to do a pre dyno inspection make sure all vacuum lines are zip tied

If a line pops off at the boost controller shouldnt it default to just the wastegate boost (spring)? I dont think itll overboost🤔
