Downloaded the kit, but no assembly instructions, where is the kit? Actually is there an alterative to it, just plain soldering

What a great project! Well done. If you decide to go down the micro controller route you could use Hall effect switches instead of physical switches to save on mass and wear. Do you have the files for sale? Thanks

We do indeed! www.etsy.com/listing/1252137931 I actually JUST put the finishing touches on a PCB to simplify the electrical side of this project, that is currently still using the SPDT switches. fully agreed on a hall effect sensor being appropriate here. Reminds me of this video ruclips.net/video/Bea4FS-zDzc/видео.html

I guess there is one file wrong from Etsy. The RightBottomGear has it's hole smaller than the others gears' holes. Can you check, please?

Hi Felipe, I can upload a new one, I left that one intentionally undersized because in some of my test prints the extruder had a tough time extruding the thin neck that connects those two spur gears. Undersizing the hole made it print more consistently, and I chase all of the gears with a 2mm drill bit to get the goobers out anyway, but I can understand the confusion. I'll upload a gear with a "nominal" hole and another with the u ndersized hole and will clarify the distinction in the directions. Thanks for catching that, it had slipped my mind

      @@enza3dllc731 ow, I got it. Thanks :)
The model is awesome, but I'm struggling to print it correctly hahaha. Besides my printer looking well calibrated, I guess it's not, because I'm having so many wrong prints that doesn't fit.
But I will persist until I get it right :)

@@Dawid4Real I couldn't finish it yet. It's very hard to make, because the pieces must be printed perfectly. Got a bit frustrated and will try again in a few weeks.

hey there, I've started to do the assembly of mine... the use of the filament to hold the eye pieces seems to continue falling out. The eye will open/close 3-4 times and then the filament will come loose. Any tips for trying to keep that together?

Hi There Cyber Hobbit! I would recommend either a dab of hotglue or a small dot of superglue, Either should hold the piece of filament in place for you
