      It’s true. The state of the ride is embarrassing. I rode it on opening day and now the ride is a hollow shell of its once former self. The irony? It is factually accurate that Disney is charging a lot of money at the parks, including Genie Plus, but they are not reinvesting that money back into the parks.
      Disney is in fact investing in Encanto, but they refuse to refurbish rides like Indiana Jones.

    Wow! That was a really cool look st the ride! I had no idea i wasnt actually moving backward when the ball rolls! I notice that the Indy animatronic thats trying to hold the doors closed is in a completely different position in more recent videos ad has less movement. The snake still jumps out and the ball olling effect still works, but I don't recall ever seeng the skeleton jump out and its been years since the three doors slid. If not for this doc i might have assumed that there never were 3 doors and 3 sets of dialogue and i had simply imagined it. Still quite a thrill to ride! When its not down for maintenance.

  • @daveTV
    @daveTV Год назад +34

    FYI, cast members who work the attraction walk the track after closing to remove trash and lost items as part of the closing attraction procedure and before handing it off to maintenance. All items go in bags and are dropped off at lost and found at City Hall on Main Street. So, if you ever lose a cell phone, glasses, hat or such, just check there at the end of the day (or at the attraction after a ride breakdown, they walk the track then too). Unless you lose medication or something important like that, they won't stop the ride to retrieve your lost item. I worked this attraction for a year in 2013 and walked the track several times. If you are one of the last guest in line at the end of the day, chances are you might ride with a truck load of cast members too.

But in 2010 (for indy blocking the gates of doom and later in 2010 they got the indiana jones animatronic at the end neat the broken Boulder replaced with a new one that has the realistic indy.) they made the animatronic look 100% like a Harrison Ford.
      Fun fact! They actually got a mold of his face for the animatronics.
