I thought that Tim was only joking until you showed me the cellar hole ! Good eye Tim ! One never knows where you might find a cellar hole . Even the hard to get to places seem to have some in them ! Maybe the logging caused some of the bad areas around those sites ! I'm going to do what Beardo said about taking a nap if you guys don't find the hole ! Before you guys started looking for that last hole by taking a nap . I'm not sure which way the thunderstorms are headed but heads up in case they are headed your way ! Here in south central Kansas we have floods everywhere and getting more rain ! To wet to do anything around here maybe a week or two before we get dried out enough to do anything . Thank you guys for the adventure and nice finds ! LFOD
Aww Charlie this reminded me so much of your first videos. I loved it. We searched for an old homesite for over a year. Not believing that someone would build on the side of a river bluff. Determined to find it, climbed up and down that bluff. It was on an outcropping. Unreal spot. Awesome video tonight.
Some treasure diggin', some rugged ramblin', some over the rivers, that gave me shivers, scramblin'. You gotta love what you gotta do, 'cause it's always hist'ry gamblin'! Whether under a root, or under a stone, or inside a chimney pile. No matter where, you sure don't despair, but keep at it for a while. So thanks once again, my Stealth Digger friends, you sure know how to make me smile. Thanks guys, you sure looked like you had a great adventure today, and managed to come away with not just your dignity, by not falling wholesale into the rivers, but also some cool history which was well worth saving. Loved the ramble and the stuff even if it was really tough. YAY!!! Thanks for sharin'! I hope you have a great day!
I always have my eye out for that large rock used by ladies and young children to climb into the stage or to mount a horse. I call them coach stones. Congratulations on the buckle work of art. We are so fortunate to live in this area that we do and it’s finds like these that bring me to the realization of it.
Lost or found, stolen or otherwise. It's the anticipation of what can be found that keeps us going, not necessarily the finds themselves. I have yet to find a shoe buckle however, this past weekend I did find crotal Bell number 8 or 9? I can't remember, sorry Nate! But that's just how the hobby is! Great hunt guys, thanks for the thrill. Thanks for the video Charlie.
Nice save to both Tim for finding the hole and Nate for finding a spoon toss!! Sorry bout your soaker One Foot Waynos!! Pretty neat trick you played on the gang DC. Taking the guys on a bush whacking journey just to find the hole back where you started!!😂😂 LFOD!!
I love any group dig, no matter the finds. Beardo is going full-out awesome with the beard! As always, an awesome video. Charlie, please have Jen check her messenger!
Aleast you got a couple buckles, and the Buffalo Nickel ect,had a good hike, passed ot right by good to see you guy's out together, you'll find more next time.
Hi Charlie and guys, Wow what awesome finds, The shoe buckles where in great condition and the fancy was so very fancy. Great video guys, enjoyed the hike too as always. 🤗👍🏻🥄
Beautiful buckles! That was quite a challenging hike. Don't worry Wayno's, I would have been soaked to the knees on both legs navigating that cedar log.
I enjoyed the hike though I doubt you all did lol. I find it great that you can go back to a site after a few years and find relics that the conditions have brought into detector range. Thank you Beardo for the spoon toss, that was in remarkable condition for pewter. Take care my friends, good luck and happy hunting Mary-Ellen LFOD
Congrats waynos and charlie! Shoe buckle and a buckle! 4th a button Nate? And a pewter spoon bowl! That last cellar was a messy one too get too. HH GUYS!!
An awesome episode once again, and that shoe buckle was amazing! Charlie, I have a quick question for you (this is like chemistry - properties of matter ha-ha): how do you distinguish a tombac button from a pewter button in the field? They both look similar to me (I'm onto a circa 1800 site now), or at least I think. Is it mainly weight/density (pewter more dense like lead I guess), or tarnish/shiny-ness, or do you base it on the VDI (I've been getting what I think is tombac around 50-ish on AT Pro & I assume pewter usually rings up a lot higher?), Thanks in advance for your input - I'm still kind of confused what the metal is.
Bingo! Enjoy your not Thursday LOL A spooooooon tosssssss Must be all that Green Yea Yea thats it Charlie getting even for all those solo Not Thursdays ROFLMAO
@@ianhedlund44 I'm lucky in that there hasn't been any ticks in our yard. We live in Clay. But the Adirondacks are bad and the large fields and wooded areas near here are getting them.
@@ianhedlund44 you got that right. And now some carry a disease that will make you allergic to red meat! You can't tell me that disease somehow naturally occurred in nature and somehow found it's way to spread on ticks.
@@mezellenjohnson2753 oh my Mary Ellen, I meant to write you back last night and fell asleep. Everything is good here as well, weather is on the improve.....slowly. How many ticks did you pick up on that bushwack?
I know they're getting worse here in Central New York and they're coming from the East 😱😁
