I know exactly what you mean about the PJs. The pair on the clip were hand made and the whole outfit cost $500 (sic) We used to make and sell them ..alas ..no more. Depending on how old the kids are they could make their own plain white PJs and fabric paint..Good luck In the early days of this song parents used to bring children to the shows in home made pjs it was great fun. cheers Franciscus

The kids had the TV on and there was this guy dancing around singing about how happy he was in his"white pajamas with bright purple polka dots". By the end of the of the song the bad mood had gone. I think your main problem would be that the ABC takes down a lot of the videos that have been put up. I've been trying to find the episode when George, Philip and one of the other classic male Playschool hosts dress up as frogs to sing 'Three Little Speckled Frogs'. We used to have it on tape but we lost it. :(
simle one there was no scarf verse..you perhaps remeber the gum boot verse ..that also never existed. I wanted to include a verse about a large mauve sombrero but it made the song too long. LOL
I sing with young kids and I want to do this song with them next term when we have our pyjama party. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find white pj's with purple polka dots, yellow socks, green mittens with a bright blue strips???????!!!!! I suspect it won't be hard to find the red hat though!
