I’m such a fan of this Podcast! We learn so much about life with achondroplasia and you guys do an amazing job at spreading awareness! Love this! My future kids will definitely learn how we are all so different but all the same 🫶🏼
I can really relate to you guys with the surgery situation. My daughter had open heart surgery at 8 months old and that was so so hard to watch. Gracias a Dios she is thriving and striving now at 19 months old. But it's crazy how strong our kids are when they undergo these procedures.
I had a vaginal delivery and man the constipation after birth is No JOKE. Is so painful. I was like that for days and at one point my body was trying to expel everything but it hurt so bad that I almost fainted at home with the baby. I had to call my husband to come home from work
My husband and I are both average height, and we have a beautiful little girl with Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, and the whole pregnancy was so stressful because they wouldn’t tell me anything for certain, her long bones were just measuring behind in every scan. And they pressed abortion so much as well, it was so irritating, I kept telling them no! And they would always ask me to reconsider… now I have my perfect little girl and I couldn’t have imagined not having her. She does have health complications but is truly the light of our lives.
