I'm not a huge fan of prosecutors but Ms. Opper seems to be one of the few with integrity and would do the right thing instead of racking up conviction numbers. Ms. Opper and Judge Dorow makes great and fair trials.

I'm in South Africa and would vote for her a million times over. I am an Advocate of the High Court and cannot stop singing her praises. Wonderful example of our profession worldwide.
People have said all sorts of kind things about Judge Dorow, but what was most apparent to me is how much she loves the law as an academic subject. From the way she took time to explain procedure and aspects of the law during the Brooks trial when it wasn't at all required. Maybe it was for the benefit of the defendant or for maintaining the court record, but I also believe she recognized what national attention the trial would get so it helped bring the viewers along and teach them things they could take away. I work in medicine and one of the things I take joy in is explaining to a person the major points, intricacies, and even fun trivial facts about the body or a diagnosis to patients who aren't in healthcare, meeting them where they are and breaking it down in a way that makes sense to them. I do it so I can empower and do right by my patients, but most of all I do it because I love medicine as a subject and I love explaining it to people. I recognized that love for the law in Judge Dorow when she was in "explain mode" 🎓
I agree. She clearly has an enormous passion for what she does and takes time to ensure she is doing everything correctly and to the best of her ability. I think that is very impressive, regardless of party or anything. I also firmly believe we should not ever elect judicial positions based on partisan beliefs, which she also mentions. The purpose of the judicial branch is just to interpret laws already in place, not to make them, so it should *realistically* not matter whether a person has an R or D next to their name, just whether they will interpret the law honestly.
People said things about her? Well, as someone who watched her handle the recent case, all I saw people write was "I hope she has a drink when she gets home", and hopes she could have a vacation afterwards.

I pray someday she’ll make it to the US Supreme Court, so that everyone in this nation gets a chance to have her as our representation. She is not just everything a judge should be, but everything a person should be, and so much more. One of the very rare people who deserves to be fully trusted with positions of great power. This judge is a rockstar. To handle Brooks the way she did with his nonsensical Behavior was fantastic. She did everything perfectly to prevent a mistrial for overturned verdict. She followed the law strictly. If I live there I would 100% vote for her for the Supreme Court of Wisconsin. I wish her a slam dunk vote
She did a terrible job in the Brooks trial. Brooks is the the one that controlled that Court room. And her explaining her every decision ad nauseam was uncalled for. I'd still vote for her though.
@@jacqui5369 Like I said before, Brooks controlled the courtroom. At 1 point she even said she was scared of him because if his stare down. A judge should never do that. When she said that it showed him he has the power. She went waaaay overboard in ensuring there would be no mistrial / appeal that she almost caused one because of all those pointless sililoquies she engaged in. She may be a good judge but she was way in over her head on this one.
Judge Jennifer is a great candidate for Supreme Court for Winsincon. Now a few more ladies with her knowledge, her professionalism, her patience and her humble attitude. She is a ROCK STAR AND A BOSS.
She showed transparency over the court process, patience, sovereignty, passion, empathy, and ability to focus in the extremely difficult case of Darrell Brooks. I think she stands out and is a good choice. Darrell Brooks once in his life did something useful against his intention by highlighting her qualities.
Judge Dorow has more than deserved her chance of elevation to the Supreme Court! I live in the U.K. and have followed her handling of her recent case of the Christmas Parade Attack. She showed absolute brilliance in her handling of this case! She was kind, patient, knowledgeable and showed utter restraint and respect in her handling of the accused. As so many have commented… I do not live in the state of Wisconsin and I am not a conservative, but I was also so inspired by her work. Her patience, knowledge I was indeed impressed. Being a conservative means. You want LESS government in your day to day life. You want to reign in and remove the over reach of government by the top “leaders” of this nation. Being conservative means you want to work hard for what you achieve and you don’t want the government dipping in to steal your hard earned money to distribute as THEY see fit. Being conservative means you follow the constitution as our founding fathers intended. It means you expect those who can work to do so and take responsibility for their own life, their wants and needs. It means you help those who need it but you don’t offer endless amounts of help because it only cripples them in the long run. So many people are terrified to be conservative because they ASSUME it means we don’t believe equal rights regardless of sexual orientation or affiliation. That’s so far from the truth. At the end of the day I don’t care what someone else does with their own life. My children shouldn’t be free game for the public school system to try and “warp” as they deem appropriate. There is more overreach everyday and at some point, Americans need to step up and say that enough is enough. We are tired of working hard for the corruption that is our highest levels of government to steal our money and our rights and line their pockets.

She mentioned that she was definitely considering this in a recent interview, so glad to see this is happening. Very encouraging to see wise people in such incredibly important positions. I am learning a lot, did not know you could campaign for state Supreme Court. Judge Dorow impressed me very early, when some childish (not childlike, I mean bratty, immature) men were making memes about her (Nick Riketa, however you spell your name, it's past time to grow up), so I found an interview she did when appointed to this position. It was bizarre to pretty much everyone when DB pretended to read the Bible, and worse when he told Judge Dorow "Some people actually live by this book", for obvious reasons; but especially because I had just read that she is a Christian who prays and studies the Bible in her personal life. I believe she referenced The Golden Rule (treat others as you would like to be treated), once, but did not talk about herself, her beliefs, was completely professional and probably did more than she legally was required to do. This is dignity. She is obviously very knowledgeable of the law, and wants to serve the people of her state. I am a widowed father of a daughter, and always look for women she can look up to. We agree that Judge Dorow is "going on the list" of strong, wise women she can learn from.
I'm so happy she's running WSC. I can only pray that she reaches up to SCOTUS. She's an incredible woman.

wisconsin are the most gerrymandered state in the country. that favor massively republican map, wisconsin supreme court judges majority of them are conservative judges and they did nothing and sided with partisan republican gerrymandering map. thats why we need balance in the supreme court, vote for a liberal judge so we can stop partisan gerrymandering

This judge is a rockstar. To handle Brooks the way she did with his nonsensical Behavior was fantastic. She did everything perfectly to prevent a mistrial for overturned verdict. She followed the law strictly. If I live there I would 100% vote for her for the Supreme Court of Wisconsin. I wish her a slam dunk vote
She did a terrible job in the Brooks trial. Brooks is the the one that controlled that Court room. And her explaining her every decision ad nauseam was uncalled for. I'd still vote for her though.

@@jacqui5369 Like I said before, Brooks controlled the courtroom. At 1 point she even said she was scared of him because if his stare down. A judge should never do that. When she said that it showed him he has the power. She went waaaay overboard in ensuring there would be no mistrial / appeal that she almost caused one because of all those pointless sililoquies she engaged in. She may be a good judge but she was way in over her head on this one.

She showed absolute brilliance in her handling of this case! She was kind, patient, knowledgeable and showed utter restraint and respect in her handling of the accused. I do not live in the state of Wisconsin and I am not a conservative, but I was also so inspired by her work. Her patience, knowledge I was indeed impressed. What a phenomenal example for my young students. I wish her the very best! Along with many prayers for a successful outcome.
Being a conservative means. You want LESS government in your day to day life. You want to reign in and remove the over reach of government by the top “leaders” of this nation. Being conservative means you want to work hard for what you achieve and you don’t want the government dipping in to steal your hard earned money to distribute as THEY see fit. Being conservative means you follow the constitution as our founding fathers intended. It means you expect those who can work to do so and take responsibility for their own life, their wants and needs. It means you help those who need it but you don’t offer endless amounts of help because it only cripples them in the long run.
So many people are terrified to be conservative because they ASSUME it means we don’t believe equal rights regardless of sexual orientation or affiliation. That’s so far from the truth. At the end of the day I don’t care what someone else does with their own life. My children shouldn’t be free game for the public school system to try and “warp” as they deem appropriate. There is more overreach everyday and at some point, Americans need to step up and say that enough is enough. We are tired of working hard for the corruption that is our highest levels of government to steal our money and our rights and line their pockets.

This is an honor and I congratulate Judge Jennifer Dorow because she is so deserving of this promotion. I'm a Florida resident who watched the Darrell Brooks case and Judge Dorow held her own. If I could vote in this election, my vote would be for Judge Dorow. The Darrell Brooks case was a test that she passed with flying colors. I don't think any other Judge could have done a better job. She mentioned that she was definitely considering this in a recent interview, so glad to see this is happening. Very encouraging to see wise people in such incredibly important positions.
I am learning a lot, did not know you could campaign for state Supreme Court. Judge Dorow impressed me very early, when some childish (not childlike, I mean bratty, immature) men were making memes about her (Nick Riketa, however you spell your name, it's past time to grow up), so I found an interview she did when appointed to this position. It was bizarre to pretty much everyone when DB pretended to read the Bible, and worse when he told Judge Dorow "Some people actually live by this book", for obvious reasons; but especially because I had just read that she is a Christian who prays and studies the Bible in her personal life. I believe she referenced The Golden Rule (treat others as you would like to be treated), once, but did not talk about herself, her beliefs, was completely professional and probably did more than she legally was required to do. This is dignity.
She is obviously very knowledgeable of the law, and wants to serve the people of her state. I am a widowed father of a daughter, and always look for women she can look up to. We agree that Judge Dorow is "going on the list" of strong, wise women she can learn from.
