I think most of us would agree that we value investing into experiences like travel, quality time with loved ones and continual self growth. That being said, any other minimalists out there have a few physical items they get a lot of value from on the day to day? 🌿
I wear my black Travis Mathew Cloud hoodie 24/7. Sleep in it, work from home, do errands. Wash it once a week when it starts to get funky. Same goes for my Travis Mathew custom SD Gulls Skyscraper backpack. Goes with me everywhere!
I absolutely love your channel, I have started de cluttering my house and my life! It’s a great feeling, thank you for sharing what you buy ☺️ my home is full of plants and I agree, they bring so much joy 💗 God bless you and your family x
I own the Berkey too and I absolutely LOVE it! I have the fluoride filter attachment (which is a MUST) and the stainless steel spout and removed the rubber seal on the bottom so it has a 100% stainless steel look to it now. I would like to get some kind of wooden stand for it like maybe a plant stand from Etsy so it doesn’t take up my tiny kitchen counter space that I have. Also, another thing I like about the Berkey compared to reverse osmosis is that it doesn’t remove the minerals! So you still get the essential, naturally occurring minerals from water like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium. 😊
I will say though, that our water is lacking the magnesium it used to have so adding trace mineral drops is a good idea since most of us are seriously deficient in magnesium. I should get some myself! I try to bath with magnesium bath crystals (really hard to find) almost daily. Getting it topically and especially through the feet has the highest absorption rate.
My best purchase is a kayal, mascara and lip balm from Soultree. A maxi dress of Jaase. Buying milk in glass bottles. House plants and containers and seeds to grow organic vegetables and fruit. A clay water pot.
I relate to a lot of what you say Madi. We are grateful for what we have and the life we live but most of all I realise how quickly anything can consume us and remove us from the things that really matter. I like what you said - extreme in any direction, like extreme minimalism is not the key. It's being wise with what you have and need. Declutter definitely frees one of the burden of managing all the stuff. A simple basic life with minimal stuff is how I like to live
I feel like I may add the scooters to my kids list since we have an unfinished basement and it would be the perfect thing for them to just go crazy since we have snow so much of the year
I've been loving your videos! Thanks for this great list. Definitely going to read your book suggestions! I was also drawn to your nonstick skillet suggestion, so I checked it out. The description says it has a PTFE marble coating. PTFE (or Teflon which is a brand name) is what typical nonstick pans are coated with. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 🥺 I worked in the plastic industry for several years, and after leaving I discovered how toxic plastics are. It's super frustrating when companies are dishonest (or maybe ignorant?) about their products. But please keep the videos coming!
Although now I read that PFOA (I've never heard of that before!) is the toxic part of PTFE, and it's almost always removed from the PTFE used in today's products. In that case the coating is supposedly safe, so maybe your pan is actually non-toxic! Marketing can be so confusing!
This was great! Thank you 🙌 Wobdering if you wouldn't mind doing a video of what you got your hubbie for Christmas 🎄💙 Love you channel & content soooooo much! 🙏
@@MadisunGray thank you! I’ve never heard of this one, but I see that azure carries it, so I’ll add it to my next order :) I usually use soap nuts… and everything comes out smelling nice and clean, but unfortunately it doesn’t always get all the stains out

What laundry products do you use, to keep your white textiles white??
We just use Country Save for our laundry and if needed we bleach in the sun.

My dream is to be a minimalist and live in Hawaii. Do you have a video on when you moved to Hawaii?
The non stick pans are very toxic but caraway seems the best for us also Viking makes good ones there’s a sale at nordstroms
The Viking is stainless steel
