- All the moments a new Eurovision Song Contest winner gets the trophy. Usually it's given to the winning artist by the previous winner. On some occasions the trophy has been handed to the songwriters instead.
So many winners look so totally different the next year
1956 - 1978: Medal in the design of the Eurovision logo in a case.
1979 - 2007: A unique trophy designed by the host nation. Some countries did give a trophy & the traditional medal some years.
2008 - Present: Glass Eurovision microphone trophy.
From Sertab to Ruslana
From Ruslana to Helena
From Loreen to Emmelie
They are the best emotional moments ❤
And Dana's Fall 😂
That's epic! XD
i love conchita to mans, as well as alexander to lena. ruslana to helena is cute too. and when dana waves the Israeli flag,,,, goosebumps
And the best crowd reaction goes to 1985
not in the video:
2019: from Netta to Duncan Laurence
2020: Contest cancelled
2021: from Duncan Laurence to Maneskin
2022: from Damiano David (of Maneskin) to Kalush
2023: from Kalush to Loreen
2024: from Loreen to Nemo
This was such a wholesome video!
.....and then there's Salvador lmao
"Was that Portuguese for "sorry"?" 😂😂
"Don't break it!"
"Is this the real one?"
They refer to a scene shown e.g. in this video XD: ruclips.net/video/asmP8j0l6AE/видео.html
I don't think anybody's gonna top Marija Serifovic for the best trophy-passing experience. How many people can say they were handed the trophy from Santa Claus?
Seeing this made me sad that Verka Serduchka didn't win that year, I mean that meeting would've been epic
Because Santa Claus is a folklore that originated in Finland, to fit in to the fairytale theme.
@@AgnessaMo BRUH THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN EPIC AS HECK
@@AgnessaMo Lordi and Verka Serduchka winning back to back would be terrible for the reputation of the contest. Serifović saved the credibility and paved the way for other true musicians winning without stage gimmick, like Jamala and Salvador Sobral.
@@JAN-qf5yt you don't have to convince me, Marija Serifovic happens to be my favourite winner of 2000s, I love Jamala and Salvador Sobral, I see the "joke entry" era as Eurovision dark times... It was just a silly comment I made imagining the situation :-) I like Verka, it was one joke entry that was fun, but I was 100% team Marija in 2007
Would love to see an updated one with Netta giving the trophy to Duncan. Great video
Terry Wogan in 81: "We won! Absolutely terrific."
Terry Wogan in 82: "A great moment. Deserved winner. Here's hoping she has a great career."
Terry Wogan in 83: "Honestly? It was meh."
Where
Stupid comments Terry made
@@jesemepardens9151 Many of them really were stupid and chauvinistic.
I mean he's not wrong
Sertab Erener giving the prize to Ruslana was so cute! :)
That's the best winner giving to new winner the trophy moment for me !!! Sertab and Ruslana had so much chemistry together ! the worst is Salvador to Netta ! he wasn't even happy LOL
Sertab's shoe was stuck 😂
@@MrMrjack18 he hated the Israeli song and hated netta because she was from Israel which is so damn stupid 🤦
OMG! I've been searching like...forever for the winning moments--when the previous winners congratulate the current winners! I really love this! Thanks for sharing this!
Also, 1972-1973: first a singer from France who represented Monaco hands the trophy to a singer from Greece that represented Luxembourg (in the UK). Then, the singer from Greece hands it to a singer from France who also sang for Monaco. Three years in a row where the winning singer didn't come from the country they represented.
LoganLagoon Whoops! Meant to say Luxembourg. The little French-speaking countries.
Well Anni-Frid is actually Norwegian lol
@Roland Teremi who is from Morocco?
I'm surprised no one's talking about Dana International falling while giving the trophy to Charlotte Perrelli @ 12:38
I would've slipped and fell too.
xD
Imagine another universe where Lena win in 2010 and 2011 so Lena gives the trophy to herself haha
Haha she wouldn't he handing over the trophy! She would simply entered the stage with her trophy 🤣🏆
@@aintyours7470 haha yes true and be like "Thank you so much Lena... You have won ONCE AGAIN"
That actually should've happened, Lena was the best in 2011!
Woah, it's so emotional to watch all these winning moments of Eurovision!!! 😍😭️🏆
The best one is Salvador to Netta LOL
And the cutest is from Santa Claus to Marija Šerifović
Nothing will ever beat the pure joy, happiness and sheer simplicity of Ireland 1994. Ireland at its best. We miss those days.
I've been looking for a video like this, thanks a lot for making it!
The Swedes get so excited when their neighbors win in their country. They're so pumped for Bobbysocks!
Thank you very much for making this great video!, I've been searching for a video like this for a while.
From black and white to color. Love to see flowers. Anytime.
Salvador escapes 😂
He was really unpolite. And Portuguese people are far from being unpolite...
@@Botafogoplayground he was shy i think
@@윤기민-b5p I don't think so...
@@윤기민-b5p He was really rude.
I guess Im kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
When Alexander trick kissed Lena.. I WENT CRAZYYY.. then he again mistook her and kissed her AGAIN
The posture of despise from Salvador Sobral facing Netta victory is actually something really honest that comes from someone that can't bear so many artificial and commercial "songs". It will be marked for Eurovision history as the encounter of 'music from the heart' with 'industrialized music'.
This is a mixture that shaped this competition, the difference is that Sobral came from a culture where people are extreme sincere about their feelings and that undisguised coldness handing in the trophy was the result.
I wonder how he would react if he was to give the trophy to Duncan.
@@AgnessaMo I think he was kinda being a sanctimonious jerk, but at least he didn't make any kind of protest. Duncan, for his part, seemed to get along great with Netta and respect her kind of music (he said something similar to the "music is feeling" remark, but he very deliberately pointed out that "fireworks" aren't necessarily bad, just not the way he expresses himself musically, which is really thoughtful of him).
@@AgnessaMo i think Salvador would have tolerated duncan tbh
Both Salvador Sobral and Netta got top marks from the televoting, i.e. the audiences all over Europe and Australia. So, I don't see a big difference between them. He was unpolite and rude. Something that Portuguese people are not.

Sertab was so happy to give the trophy, that was so cute
17:19 OUCH!!!!!! TROPHY CRASH :(
The moment dana fell made me anxious and worried due to the trophy being heavy
I like the Hennerys to Bobbysox it looks like a party.
From Santa Claus wtf 😂
"ok, Alexander, stop kissing Lena"
and new in tel aviv... Netta Barzilai to Duncan Laurence (The Netherlands) in 2019
Early years of Eurovision - 👏👏👏 congrats
2009- today - 👏👏🎵🎶 🎉 🤭 🎊 *C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S*
1985??
From Santa claus to serbia
9:19 I had never seen the moment Celine Dion hands the prize to Riva. In fact, I'd thought Celine would not have been present at all, like Abba or Brotherhood Of Men!
It's been 4 years dude. Please update this.
So sad to think that we will never see Duncan give it to Måneskin
2:19 omg, It's norwegian, that was bad jokes tho.🤤❤️🇳🇴
14:21 and 20:14 just compare these lol
In 1980 the Price was hand over to Johnny Logan by Marcel Bezençon, the creator of Eurovision Song Contest, as it was the 25th edition.
Good note!
@@Norfin90 Always ready to help gentle finns ha ha ha
1969 is still nuts. Think there was a reason they brought Salome out first, though.
Running order
that,s cause she got it 1,st
She performed first
Why should she be left the last one?
Alexander kiss Lena 😅
Imagine if Lena won in 2011 and gave the trophy to herself
7:30 Isn't it Nicole who gives the trophy to Corinne Hermes?
True! Yes, I should have written "from Nicole" there 👌
Great idea :-)
Poor Vicky Leandros. She only got a hug from Severine, not the trophy nor even a flower bouquet.
Great video keep it up
How about Netta to Duncan?
the video is older than that
You can now make a new version with 1956 and 1964 :)
But we've only got the scene where flowers are given to Lys and photos of Gigliola getting the medal? 😯
@@Norfin90 you are right about Lys she only got flowers. Here you go about 1964. ruclips.net/video/-ObhUtHvAQU/видео.html
Charlotte Nillson o Perrelli?
She was Nilsson when she won, then she got married and became Perrelli
@@horilaw424 So, in 1999 she still was Nilsson.
2014 -2015 -2016 The best!!!!!!
And 2021:
To Maneskin of Italy
Did I see it right? Did Rybak break the trophy?
Yes he did! 😅
11:54: 1997 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Teddy said "bonne chance" to Jacqueline, which mean "good luck?"
