- Hi, I'm Steve and I'm back for another tool restoration video.
In my latest video I thought I'd try restoring my first knife. This is a folding knife that I picked up at a sale recently. I think it used to belong to someone called Paul. You'll see why...
I started restoring old tools this year and I thought I would produce some videos to maybe help other people who might want to restore their own tools. Or you can just watch me restore them, it's up to you.
I have also set up an Instagram page under the same name if you wanted to see what other tools I'm hoping to restore soon. Please let me know what you think of my video in the comments as I've still got lots to learn and it's a very addictive hobby.
Which other tools would you like to see me restore? I've got a special video coming up next where I will be unboxing a box full of mixed tools sent to me by Jacks Shed so be sure to check him out on Instagram. The link to his page is here / jacks_shed so go check him out.
Thanks for watching.

It’s nice to see a restore without thousands of dollars worth of tools and chemicals used

You could have used oxalic acid to remove those rust stains from the wooden handle
If you want to get rid ot those black stains, you could use a solution of oxalic acid. Works very well for me. Nice restauro.
Music Man Thank you. I assumed they were part of the wood but it’s good to know I can get rid of them if need be. 👍🏻
Cool restoration, man, congrats.
