And with a capacity for hatred that would put the most vile Sith to shame... Like the Daleks said to the Cybermen... "This is not war this is PEST CONTROL!" LMAO
I highly appreciate that this isn’t a one-sided slaughter. So many Doctor Who fans seems to think the Daleks would just wipe out any other major Sci-Fi empire with ease, but we know from their own conquest attempts in their own universe that they’re not actually the most successful against well organized humanoid armies with advanced weapons. Humanity has managed to defeat them countless times without the Doctor ever needing to be involved.
That's very true and it would definitely make the whole thing a little boring if the Daleks were just exterminating everyone and the Galactic Empire weren't resisting
That’s not true. They only defeated them once with their first invasion. It’s only when the timewar happened that the daleks disappeared from the universe during their third Dalek war leading to humanity thinking they were the victors. It was a huge part of the plot for parting of the ways. Considering the nature of the timewar the daleks could have easily defeated the empire using one of their time destructor devices to age them to death or a continuity bomb to rewrite the empires timeline or even use one of their planetary weapons which would have cracked the ship open like an egg. The Daleks would have had the upper hand, especially with their temporal shielding shifting themselves a few seconds in the future meaning the shots wouldn’t have touched them. It’s not bias when there is a huge technological difference between the empire which is a space age society vs the Daleks a literal multiversal threat which nearly destroyed the whole of space and time.
The big issue with the Daleks is they rely on battle computers and logic. It's shown in the dalek-Molevian wars that such a clinging to battle computers and logic they get stuck into a impasse. Only illogical actions and thinking could break such a stalemate and this was what humanity is good at. Humans except at illogical actions and why daleks lose at human-dalek wars
Well, it has been said that arrogant power-hungry driven people could fit well into a machine like system like that of the Daleks or the Borg (No need probably to assimilate or turn into half machine Daleks or Borg Drones many people in Earth). @SGTMET4L the problem is.. it depends on which Borg you're talking about. They were handled so incompetently over such a short span you need to pick by series. its a very well made. tho id like to have seen more of a slug fest between the 2 ships. This also kinda reminds me of the starwars and warhammer crossover vids
Very balanced and roughly where I would rate them in strength. Daleks have Temporal Technology and transporter advantages but the Galactic Empire has the resources and the Tech to fight back. Obviously 1 on 1 a Dalek would be far superior to a Stormtrooper but as shown...massed fire will deplete their personal shields eventually. The E-WEB blaster cannon would be a key weapon to fighting them on the ground. If bullets could get through a Daleks shield via its weak point then blaster fire should be more capable of weakening the shield
Because they're walking on metal flooring, I wanted to give their footsteps some weight. So by adding that sound effect it helps sell the effect that they are walking on metal
You never played Battlefront, did you? The Imps would be using ion cannons and grenades extensively to disrupt the enemy shields and power systems. And the would have deployed the snub fighters immediatly on contact. I don't know what powers Daleks, but it must be magic.
This is the one time the Doctor just grabs popcorn, kicks back and lets the baddies fight it out themselves.
And the Doctor is probably hoping that this sort of thing happens more too. Evil empires attacking each other rather than innocent planets

It is the Empire that would have no chance. The Daleks are significantly more advanced and way more powerful.
Cool short but learn better CGI computer skills I used to work at Lucas films a long time ago in a galaxy far far away back in the late 90s and early 2000s
its a very well made. tho id like to have seen more of a slug fest between the 2 ships. This also kinda reminds me of the starwars and warhammer crossover vids
Thank you so much. That's a good idea, perhaps seeing how much damage is caused by the Dalek's saucer laser cannons
40k would crush the empire
Very balanced and roughly where I would rate them in strength. Daleks have Temporal Technology and transporter advantages but the Galactic Empire has the resources and the Tech to fight back. Obviously 1 on 1 a Dalek would be far superior to a Stormtrooper but as shown...massed fire will deplete their personal shields eventually. The E-WEB blaster cannon would be a key weapon to fighting them on the ground. If bullets could get through a Daleks shield via its weak point then blaster fire should be more capable of weakening the shield
I wonder if an ion cannon would have any effect?
I think that too, regarding how powerful both sides are. And that Daleks can be destroyed by concentrated blaster bolts
Perhaps the ion cannon might have stunned the Daleks temporally or disabled the saucer for a short period of time
Maybe someone will get it right but don't hold your breath
Why does it sound like a broken washer when they walk.
Because they're walking on metal flooring, I wanted to give their footsteps some weight. So by adding that sound effect it helps sell the effect that they are walking on metal
Well, that was painful.
Dalek win
it should be
Watched again . Jesus lost for words. Can I buy copy. And your tomb of cybermen with daleks ?
Thank you very much. If I started to sell copies of it, then I would get into trouble from The BBC, the Terry Nation estate, and from Disney
You never played Battlefront, did you? The Imps would be using ion cannons and grenades extensively to disrupt the enemy shields and power systems. And the would have deployed the snub fighters immediatly on contact. I don't know what powers Daleks, but it must be magic.
Daleks are powered by temporal energy, so ion weaponry would have no effect
