    One of the funniest casts ever assembled...I don't remember ever laughing as hard as I did watching Allo Allo...I miss them dearly.

    Rose Hill who played Fanny, Rene's mother in law, was apparently an opera singer in her younger day.

      I love when she spat on the nazis. I do that now when I see the nazi commies of this day who see them as the gods and we as the slaves sending us to concentrations like with the Aussies and the lock down of the people who are not vaccinate in Germany and I spit on them

    Nothing makes me happier than this! The episode when Leclerc played this on accordion while being rescued from prison is priseless.

      @@dunderthunder9858 Both Rose Hill and Carmen Silvera had an appearance In Dads Army. Carmen was in the episode Mums Army as Mrs Fiona Grey & Rose Hill in the episode Uninvited Guests as an elderly ARP Warden called Mrs Cole.

    On a trip to England a few years ago now, my husband and I took a day tour over to Paris. One part was a boat ride on the Seine... I couldn't resist singing (off key) a bit of this much to my husband's chagrin lol. I have the DVDs, always a good laugh. 😁🇨🇦😷

    What a beautiful gesture❤. The cast of Allo Allo weren’t only phenomenal actors, they were/ are incredible human beings. Sadly some are no longer with us.

    I still have in my head Madame Edith's performance of this song while I'm listening to this. I just can't listen to this being sung properly without hearing her way in my head. This song is ruined to me forever. XD

    Great video. I remember watching it many years ago and now I’ve liked it. From a 21 year old. A great show, magnificently written and well-acted by the cast. Missed the talents of Vicki Michelle, Francesca Gonshaw and John D. Collins in this little ensemble though.

    I only knew the danish version of this song "Under den hvide bro". I never knew it existed in english too.
    "Allo allo" was also shown in Denmark with about one year's delay from the original. And was very popular indeed.
