Love the backdrop. Glad to see the tour du teriyaki is back.
Loving the new view from the roof, glad to see teriyaki tours are back.
This whole video is like a subtle Seattle tourism advertisement.
That backdrop is insane! What a gorgeous view. Another great teriyaki review
What a view to have at home 🤩 love this series
wow slightly mushy rice, squishy dumplings, slightly brown lettuce, and it made the list? must be some good chicken.
also the dressing and tamagoyaki!
Gets deep fried dumpling to go steaming in a box "It's mushy" Yeah no duh lmao
I have the same reaction to seeing a cybertruck in the wild
I think that's most people's reaction lol
Clown car
IncEl Camino
I dont know anything about cybertrucks, is it just those look ugly as hell or whats up?
@@koskettaja609 ugly, frequently break down, can't drive over the smallest inconvenience without getting stuck, often dangerous to the owner (there's a whole series of videos of people sticking their hand in the trunk to show it's not bad, and then getting hurt because yes it is), REALLY ugly, they don't charge or hold a charge correctly, they get recalled repeatedly... oh and sometimes they just straight up catch fire.
I snicker too, because I can not believe that someone would be so foolish as to spend money on that giant paperweight. But they don't want a good vehicle, they want what they see as a status symbol.
Man... that view is amazing.
Mister Lopez-alt, not that I don't enjoy the videos you've created from home, however that incredible view of Seattle is amazing! Also I truly appreciate your diligent work that you provide for us. I have learned so much from your cooking instructions. How you break down the science of what happens. Thank you good sir, I hope to see more of your content soon!
Did I hear someone say 'Delete that video please' as you passed the Cyber Truck?
Loving this series! Also, Koibito is misspelled on your ongoing list in the description.
Big fan of yours! Can't wait to watch more of your videos and try some of the places that you like around Seattle. What a riot that we're in the same city!
I travelled to Seattle to try Teriyaki Madness thanks to these videos
Can’t wait until you try ohana teriyaki in bothel. It’s family owned and they give HUGE portions
I've been looking forward to this specific place since I've eaten from it and was genuinely curious what Kenji thought, great vid!
Kenji, we are from a town in Central, Washington, and love watching you and hope you get back to your teriyaki ratings and hit the town for more. Anxiously awaiting.
I know it's not *technically* Seattle, but Vashon Island has a very good teriyaki shop I think you would like! The ferry trip is always fun!
Can you do restaurants reviews along I-5 up and down from California to Washington? Worthwhile road trip stops...
Will we ever get a tour/showcase of your bike? It looks amazing and am very curious about it!
It's a rad wagon 4 with some accessories
6:48 picks seagull poop off the table for a light snack.
Keep the camera rolling all day
Beautiful background and setting to eat your teriyaki Kenji! Great Work!
You have a beautiful home on the water. I got distracted by the very round cloud on the left side while watching you on your roof.😮
I'm looking forward to if/when Kenji makes it up to my neighborhood Teriyaki, Nasai on 145th.
Can we get a super cut of all the end scenes with Kenji dining in silence? Maybe make an artsy black and white version?
If haven't yet make sure you go to a Yasuka's . Last one may be in Interbay , 15th and Dravus . Can still get skin-on chicken , the sauce is thin, not sweet and syrupy , you get lots of rice and cabbage and there's even hot mustard which I recommend .
This used to be my teriyaki place over ten years ago when I worked across the street on Dexter... probably about five names ago. I think it even changed names while I was over there.
Kenji is living the life
We need more Kenji teriyaki reviews!!
Gorgeous view from your upper deck
Grillbird in West Seattle. It's less classic but it's a fun new take on Teriyaki and the only place safe for my partner who has Celiac.
Zevia, nice! I like the flavors that I've tried, their root beer is probably my favorite. Definitely has a bit of an aftertaste because of the stevia, but I got over that pretty quickly.
I miss not that long ago teriyaki used to be $5.99-$6.99 everywhere for many years.
Can’t wait for the Toshi’s episode!
I have tried most of the Teriyaki places on your list. I really like Ichi Roll Wok & Teriyaki on N 125th. Their tempura prawns never make it to my house, I eat them in my car.
Saw a Reddit post in /r/Food suggesting Seattle's Best Teriyaki and Pho. Glaze looked super thick, and the salad not only had more than 4 carrot shreds, but purple cabbage. Crazy.
Othello Wok in Othello neighborhood is another one, can hop the light rail to get to it
How much time did it take for you travel via bike back to your boathouse? Did it contribute to the sogginess of the gyoza?
Recommend Choice Deli in Ballard!
“Oh god” 😂
It has been 2 months, time for more reviews, please!
You need to try I Love Teriyaki in Kirkland. It's the best. I've tried so many joints in the Seattle area.
Although their spicy chicken is what I get...
Hopefully the Seattle Chamber of Commerce sees this and pays you to do these shots. Best big city I've ever been to (which is limited to 10 west coast states and Canadian provinces).
Hey Kenji
Your best (least worst) grocery store teriyaki sauce ? 😅
Greetings from Miami
Was following fervently this Spring. Do you have any plans for continuing with the rest of this list?
My favorite Teriyaki is TaJoia in Bothell!
You should have an ongoing scoreboard to track which ones are best
Do you think the delay from cooking to eating on the rooftop affected the gyoza texture?
If you're ever in Federal Way area try Yummy Teriyaki. Really good Chicken Teriyaki
Yeah, we love Seattle, whether Teriyaki is involved or not.
Let's goooo
Also 10/10 cat stretch!
Maybe you should do something on the Seattle Hotdog!😅
Opening the box to reveal a surprise rectangle of omelette, truly the biggest plot twist of the year
Yo try Teriyaki 1st on 85th and 8th NW or Seattles Best Teriyaki on 4th Ave S. Highly recommend.
please do sunny teriyaki in magnolia!
Hoping to see Kenji find gyoza that makes him finally happy in one of these reviews!
With all the teriyaki places mostly owned by Koreans, hoping one will serve legit homemade mandu (Korean dumplings)!
Asia Ginger in Pioneer Square is the best Teriyaki I've had in Seattle
Went to Toshi's on Mill Creek last night. Still excellent.
We want a Kenji-recipe for teriyaki !!!!
Did you watch all the way to the end?❤
Big stretch at 6:00
Dang, no mention of the price? Seems like the blackboard shot at 0:49 shows the menu at $17.99 for the gyoza combo - a little steep for my preference (but then again, so many Seattle prices are nowadays)
This dang channel always popping up in my recommends at 1am with no Teriyaki places open by me 💀
Once you’ve tried all 80 restaurants, are you planning to post a new teriyaki recipe that combines the best aspects of your favorite places?
I hate it when I forget to confirm if chopsticks are in the bag before leaving.
local man does biiiiiiiiiiiiig stretch
tamagoyaki?
I'd love to see a video diving into marinading meat. I recall seeing some compelling evidence that marinating meats results in remarkably low surface penetration. And that longer marinade times are basically useless. And yet, you seem to refer to the marinade here in a positive way. What's the conclusion, and what evidence supports it?
1:07 My reaction as well!
Maybe their other sides are better, looks like a nice place.
Have to ask, Dr. Pepper Zero or Diet Dr. Pepper? (there is one correct answer)
When did you break your hand?
Could you or someone drop your patreon link here or in the description?
Here you go! www.patreon.com/kenjilopezalt?
@@JKenjiLopezMain Thank you!
Wake UP babe a new episode of Seattle Chicken kenjiyaki just dropped
How did you film this? I don’t see a go pro on your head or a camera behind you…
Oh I guess it’s in the sunglasses…
He has a production team who go back to get the shots they need. Typically each interaction is filmed a couple of times and then Kenji dubs the audio.
@@Im49th Most of it is actually CGI generated, saves time and money.
He's wearing the google Ray Bans with the camera in the frame.
Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer glasses.
How is his hand not broken anymore one day he fractured it the next it’s fine 😅 glad he’s all better
View so nice it looks green screened lol
Never thought I would be so confused by a missing shred of carrot and the presence of an egg😂
*rushes over to patreon*❤
Second
You look much healthier after giving up alcohol, good job
I’m expecting an Excel spreadsheet.
Stevia has always sounded like an STI to me
Too much packaging..
Kanji has somehow made his videos even more disorienting with all the cuts between the ray bans and fixed camera. Please pick one for the eating scenes mr editor or don’t cut after every sentence, it will make the videos much easier to watch.
Elon has landed…. #cybertruck
