Great to see a top ten without any hype. I am amazed how some reviewers can easily switch their top tens out. I’ve had both versions of Eau Sauvage, and although I prefer the black label, the silver label garnered significantly more compliments.
Great list . I got some of these but I’m going through a darker phase now. Managed to get a few bottles of Tom Ford Noir Anthracite and it’s an instant love for me . 🤓
Nice ranking. I like most of those that I own or sniffed. Eau Sauvage is surprisingly " sweet" for me, but in a good way. I love it, but I don't consider it the fresh, zingy citrus that anyone says it is. I mean it is also that but also much more
I am away in a weekend trip to Southern California, I had two fancy dinners and I wore God of Fire by Stephahe Humbert Lucas in the first one and Oud Palao in the second evening. Oud Palao was quite an experience. It was my full wearing in an occasion. I am still not sure how I feel about it ,( very, very heavy, tenacious and intense experience for me, but not cloying to others). The dinner that we went to was one of our all timers so I most probably gonna keep a nice memory association about it.

Excellent list. We have very similar taste. I agree that both versions of your #1 are great. I wish that they would have kept both versions available since I find the newer version is more of a spring/early summer version of the original.

Dior Eau Sauvage parfum (2017) brings such a joy. I don't think i have more joyful parfum in my collection, including many samples.

Kinda surprised that I haven't smelled 1962 yet. And I remember your review on Parfumo. Absolutely no doubt that I would enjoy it. On the to-do list for sure. 🌿

It looks to me like you have a vintage version of Egoiste. The older ones have silver atomizers, that's one way to tell....so that's good 👍

@@TheScentinel I don't know exactly the year they switched but raiders of the lost scent blog has a ton if info on it. I do know if you're looking for an older version of egoiste or Antaeus you want to see the silver atomizers tho 👌

Great list , I picked up a 2012 Savauge Parfum for 80$ , I couldn’t pass , but rarely find myself in situations worthy of its opulence

I knocked 2 bottles of the black label Eau sauvage parfum off my kitchen side. I did shed a tear. But my kitchen smells absolutely wonderful. Every cloud. Great video pep. Great choices. Great taste. Great hair 👌🏼

I found Seville in the older bottle. It was damaged, and returned it. Fortunately, because it wasn’t for me. Smells Beautiful from a distance, but on me it was very thick and goopy.

Yeah i do understand why Seville could be disliked, that is a very subjective ranking for me.

To clarify, you said you have 60 Btls in your collection now?
Can I ask what was your Btl count at its highest peak of collection? I ask because I feel I have an unhealthy addiction that exceeds my income on big end perfume with 79 (all 100/200ml) mainly niche bottles to my collection in 3 years.
Could you one day address unhealthy spending on perfumes for us. I’d love your take on it as I’m thinking of downsizing but am emotionally attached to most of them.
