Habit Rouge is the cheapest fragrance I own, but its also my favorite!
34 is such an underrated gem.
Have you tried both edt and edp of 34? I got small samples of each, really like them both, definitely want one, but I can't decide which one based on the few wearings I got out of the samples. Just wondering if you have long term experience with both and can point to relevant differences.
I LOVE Eau de Baux!!!❤ Its such a great comforting huggable scent!
Definitely is!
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed night
Recently discovered your channel and your Spotify podcast and I’m really enjoying the style and format, so refreshing, relaxing and reassuring, the audio-visual equivalent of a comfort scent 😊 thank you!
Hey mate, you are also welcome to some other fantastic channel's :
Rich Mitch, RamseytheRam,Usmellsgood and JONATHAN1970.
That's great to read, thank you!🙏
Beauuuutiful forever selection. 34 Blvd. St. Germaine EDT is an infinite love of mine, too! You’ve enticed me to try Woody Mood 👀 and Epic Woman is high up on my Wishlist, I’m on the hunt for a reasonably priced partial bottle 🔍 I loved how you explained what a comfort fragrance means to you and what emotions your comfort fragrances conjure for you… for me, All Good Things and Rentless by Lush (both discontinued 😭) are comfort scents, along with CHANEL N°22 EDT, COCO (because my Mom always wore it) and N°5 Parfum.
All the above and Guerlain Shalimar EDP, CdG. Daphne, Neshama Souls on Fire are sure fire lifers for me ♥︎
Thank you for your refreshing content, unique choices and for always sharing with us, Pep!
Always a pleasure for me
I've been here for sometime and owe a lot to you. These are the ones that truly scream 'Pep' to me. Happy New Year, man!
Some surprising choices! I didn’t think 34 would be on there nor Epic!
I'm a moody bitch🤷♂️
Nice list pep. I definitely couldn’t live without Azzaro PH, D&G PH, A Men, just the first few that flew into my head. 😬
Hopefully you'll always be able to have them.
What an exquisite taste and awesome presentation. Enjoyed your video as well.
Thank you!
Great list👌🏻 I see two favourites😍😏 Oh and I agree Woody mood and 34 are beautiful!
Thanks, Estere! You have great taste😁
For me, Serge Luten's filles en aiguilles still brings that same excitement I got when I first sampled it,
but 1740 has the same effect. Both of them are forever in my collection even though Serge's has been put in
that limited upscaled bottle. I do have a 2015 unopened bottle of FeA in my collection.
It's hard for me because I have lots of vintages. I'm wearing vintage Antaues right now,
and like Bel Ami, it's changed. I like Bel Ami's second iteration the best. So it's hard for me to choose.
Now, don't laugh, but there is one that is still in production that I love and wear a lot,
Acqua de Parma's Colonia Club.
Oh, JC, Mary Anne, and Joseph.
Just read about Colonia Club. They changed it.
Well, I got two bottles. It's not popular. I'll get another.
I don't know Egoiste, yes I said it, or Woody Mood.
I'll have to try them.
Happy Holidays Pep.
Ooh, you have me intrigued with Colonia Club now
Great list, Pep! One of these days, I think I'm going to blind buy 34.
Discovered Woody Mood last year and it really is something special. Haven’t got a chance to try the old bottle, but new works also fine.
Also agree on Epic Amouage.
Thank you for the video, so precious in today’s (fragrance) world. Best wishes from Croatia.
Thank you for watching, i am happy you enjoyed it.
Great vid, pep.
A couple of my lifers would be..
Highlands by Alexandria
Mfk masculin plurial
N&w gravitas pour homme among many others. Take care and stay humble
Interesting! Nice list and have a lot in common with my choices. I thought that I'll see pour monsieur, but ... anyway. Greeeaat
As much as i currently love PM, i feel i still need more time with it to feel like i want it forever.
Uh, yeah, a solid 11 perfumes for sure. I have 34 Boulevard on my list to get. I have samples of the EDT and EDP and love both. But I passed on 34 to get Benjoin Boheme. I would have JICKY on my forever list. And hey, they still make it 😁
I am seriously considering it
Where is Seville A L'Aube??????????? Also, from what you stated in the past on various occasions I would say that the most surprising absence ( after Seville) is Idole by Lubin, and maybe Le Lion , Boy, Gilded, as more recent additions. Also Helmut Lang and Etruscan Water used to be a consistent top 10 presence.
Well, a few things...
Seville A L'Aube is discontinued, so based on the criteria I mentioned at the beginning of the video, I couldn't include it.
Idole: i did love back then, but my tastes evolved and i eventually sold it. Same with Etruscan Water.
Gilded, Le Lion, i do not own bottles of, so technically i did not include in this video.
Hope this clarifies.
Agree with pretty much all of your list but let out a Whoop for woody mood!
🙌
My 4Life 7: Oud Ispahan, Golden Green, Jubilation XXV, Erolfa, Grey Vetiver, Sycomore, Alexandria II
Golden Green i have not heard of
@@TheScentinel Xerjoff.
Great Choices!
Thank you
I urge you to get the edp of Habit Rouge. Yes it is a little different but also true and faithful to the original dna of the edt. It’s a masterpiece in its own right. I simply couldn’t do without either of them!
I have the bew HR Rouge Prive, is there any redundancy if i get the edp?
@@TheScentinel I own the edp but have only sampled the Privé version. In my few wearings of the Privé tester, I find them different enough that I personally would not find them redundant (and if I can manage to get a bottle of Privé, I will be doing so).
Agreed. They are different enough. Unfortunately, as it means more £. 😅
Why not Azzaro Pour Homme as the forever fougere? Sartorial is modeled after it and the brute aftershave/deoderant. I think the Azzaro is the greatest and most timeless of all time for the fougere genre.
Re Fahrenheit. It is timeless and brilliant. Check out Amouage Portrayal Man for their take on it. Also great.
Not sure why i would include Azzaro since i have tried it and still prefer Sartorial. Just personal taste, right?
Any update on Le Lion de Chanel? fantastic choices by the way!
I still have about 20ml decant and it might be a while before i get a bottle
Nice choices Tfs
Thank you
Difficult to make this list because I have to guess what will continue to be in production in my lifetime. I will err on the side of caution in that respect, siding with companies with larger distributions and among the more widely known of their ranges. I will also consider perfumes that I wear often, so that one bottle for life wouldn't suffice. My top 11 would then be, in no particular order:
1. Shalimar (Guerlain)
2. N°19 (Chanel)
3. Cuir de Russie (Chanel)
4. Féminité du Bois (Serge Lutens)
5. Aromatics Elixir (Clinique)
6. Addict (Dior)
7. Fracas (Robert Piguet)
8. Bel Ami (Hèrmes)
9. Eau de Protection (Etat Libre d'Orange)
10. Une Fleur de Cassie (Frédéric Malle)
11. Femme (Rochas)
Agree
Some I have to try them
Solid list!
I want Absolue Pour le Soir FOREVER, but that AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN
And it brings sadness to my heart to think about it
@@TheScentinel Haha!
I feel the same with terre d'hermes edt. The vintage stuff is in my top 3. Current version maybe not even in top 10.
It's changed that much?
@TheScentinel to my nose, yeah. It's lost most of that gorgeous flinty vibe, and to put it bluntly, lost its balls.
@@jasonburke4724 sad. How do you feel about the parfum, that is my favourite from that line.
@TheScentinel parfum is lovely, but I still prefer vintage edt. It's the only fragrance I care if it's vintage. Luckily, i have a full 200ml, so hopefully that'll last me.
Great choices...i thought le3 homme would make the list
It didn't because i am not confident it's still in production (which was one of my criteria for this list).
@@TheScentinel Sadly, it's not.
@@michael_galicia i thought so
@@michael_galiciabeing from Western Europe, i am pretty sure it is :).
You always introduce me to new perfumes I hadn't heard of before. :-) An unrelated question, but who made the shirt you're wearing? It's a shade of green that isn't common these days.
The brand of the shirt i am wearing is from here...

I am disappointed that Heritage is not in the list :(... when u get le lion, it will easily take the spot of one of them...
Do you like bleu de chanel?
I don't dislike it, but that profile seems so ubiquitous now
@@TheScentinel This is true. But it smells so elegant and classy. I still like it.
