The roots look like a dinosaur foot. Big raptor. I really like this one too! That little bend in the trunk is nice. Cool use of the potting soil bags for your veggies! I used to do the same thing! Ha! Grapes start so tiny Eh!! Juniper is impressive!
Hi Ryan, detail pruning makes all the difference, I have mine to get stuck in to, leafed out early this year compared to other trees, mine is no match to yours, I was struggling to hear your comments but got the gist of what you are doing my problem not yours age plays havoc with not just your hearing and eyesight, 81 in a couple of weeks time so can’t complain too much mate, enjoy your videos. Btw you have a great garden mate I bet you created yourself.
Thanks Joe m8, it must be my northern accent for the hearing part not your age haha. Yes, I done all the work in my garden buddy that way i save money lol..happy 81st birthday m8 for when the day comes ;)
I know where you're coming from - I have to try and move a load of larches and stuff. Great little video and the elm looks well on its way. that juniper is pretty impressive. Cheers

If you’re selling any trees Ryan, let me know! Would be very interested in medium size larch/elm/beech/cotoneaster
i will keep you posted Mem once i have made my mind up lol
Always wanted a specimen English elm. Something quintessentially English.
Thanks Andrew, this was my first english elm quite happy with how it is starting to turn out
Well, thats basically a large tree, cut down to size and let some tiny branches grow along, right?
Is that technically still a bonsai?
Its yamadori m8
Just to let you know Bonsai is the art of shaping the plant. Bonsai trees dont exist. This is just an elm
💩
