This unit needs hot water at the sink and shower head. Install the furnace/water heater combo they use in the Solis 36B
Also needs a 2000-3000 watt Inverter, and a second battery to run a TV or a coffee maker without having to use a generator.
Love the idea of the swappable Propane tank - Walmarts and grocery stores and Convenience stores are FAR more frequent than a Propane filling station. Also love the idea of a bed that you don't have to set up and take down every night, like the Solis 36B.
I'm glad it has a 3500 lb tow rating, can go hit the trails for a weekend towing my Polaris RZR.
This would be an awesome daily driver. Super good looking exterior. If I bought it I would head strait to the upholstery shop and have all the cushions redone to a quality fabric and colors and then it would be perfect!
I have a Solis Pocket and really love it. The price point is excellent for people who want to get a camer van. The best part is it's size, I can park it in any standard parking spot. I would highly recommend it.
How is 100+ thousand dollars a "good price point" 😂 My parents bought a house for less than that a few years ago in PA

Adrian, I have watched several videos about the Solis Pocket. Yours is by far the most competent. You actually show how things work, and it looks like you have used the camper yourself.

Clean, clever, compact layout for travel & day trips. Snacks & meals, wash up, nap & sleep overnight, and sightsee in an easy-to-drive-&-park van. Would be nice to have a generator option for the AC & hot water. Onboard bathrooms, small or large, are nice, but there are more options on the road nowadays with cleaner truck stops, gyms, state parks, libraries, hospitals, restaurants, stores, campsites, etc. Any buyer should be able to get 35% off MSRP.

Winnebago can call that color "Ceramic Gray" all they want, but to this Navy vet, it's "Battleship Gray" and something I wanted to stay away from. But then I remembered I wasn't on a ship so I guess I'm ok with it. Solis Pocket is at the top of my list if I can find one when I'm ready the beginning of '24, unless they priced me out of the market. I love the open feel on the inside. I just wish it had an inverter.

There's a Porto potty inside as well as outside shower if you really need one.
A porta potty and an outside shower is not gonna cut it at that price
You could buy a promaster van and build it like this with aluminum tubing. Pay about $45k half the price.

Can I use the AC when the engine isn't running? Does it need to be plugged into shore power for Ac to work? I'm thinking about when I need to leave my dog in the van. I have a solar generator that I could use inside and possibly reach the shore power through the propane outside hatch? My solar generator works like shore power. Im just not sure if I could read from the inside?
What generator would you recommend that will start and run the air conditioner?
Another video showed a 2200 watt genset running the A/C. Honda makes one too, now.

Hi Shea and thanks for watching! Without carrying a generator to fire up the A/C, your best bet for short periods of time would be to crack the cab windows and run your max fan to circulate some fresh air.
You need the more expensive power pac option. The van comes with old fashioned AGM batteries which offer only 100 usable amps.

To me, having no wet bath inside is a feature! Cram that in there and you have hardly any living space at all. Just go to campground with facilities. Problem solved. Or look at class A or C where space for a wet bath is no issue and give up the advantages of light and nimble.
Do the 110v outlets work while the engine is running? Or are they only connected to shore power?
You'd need to install a 2000-3000 Inverter, and probably a second house battery to run 110v without shore power or generator.

Hey Michael....thanks for watching. We should be getting a 36B later this month and I will do a video as soon as it arrives. Just like the 36A it won't be for everybody but it will definitely be a cool addition to the Solis lineup. It will have a different sleeping setup but will include a shower and toilet. Can't wait to video it for you guys!
36A has rear Murphy bed, 36B has rear toilet/shower. 36A has garage to carry gear, 36B has NO garage area. 36A you can leave the bed set up day and night, 36B you have to set the bed up and take it down every night.

Why is the dashboard flashing? Is that a fluke? Serious question since flashing lights can induce vomiting and seizures in people. I stopped watching because it was making me nauseous!

A high priced mini van. Total waste of money. The purpose of a B van, is to have a compact rv, with the features and comforts of a larger unit . This is a disgrace from the company that created the Rialta
Ridiculous price for what youre getting. They probably get these vans wholesale for 40k or less add 10k of BS to the inside, and sell it back to you for 120,000$ lmao. Whos dumb enough to buy one at these prices?
