As a Solis Pocket 36A owner and frequent solo traveler, I gotta say that I still prefer the A-floor plan's murphy bed and dinette set up. However, I think this is a great additional floor plan option for folks who are really freaked out about the lack of separate bathroom in the A. I also applaud the addition of an onboard hot-water heater. Most of all - thank you for fixing the propane tank holding mechanism! I wish that could be adjusted or updated on my A, as the seatbelt style strap is not sufficient to keep the tank solidly in place, especially once it's no longer full. Roads are just too bumpy everywhere, and I am not even talking about off-roading. Overall, this new floor plan looks great, and I am sure new customers will have some difficulty choosing between Pocket A&B. Great job listening to customer feedback, Winnebago! 🙌
If the A doesn’t have a toilet, it would be a no-brainer for me to choose the B. I wouldn’t be “freaked out” about not having a toilet but using the bathroom is, after all, one of life’s necessities! Maybe you’ll understand when you get to be a geezer like me!😁
agree with the other comment- no toilet is no-option for many people. Even this model the toilet seems hard to empty as there is no cassette that can be rolled into a pit toilet. I also don't see how this toilet gets water for a flush.... do you use the showerhead?
@@Patrick_RossOh but the A does have a toilet - it's a porta potti/ cassette toilet that's stowed under the front dinette seat. It totally does the trick for me, and I am already geezer-ish myself!
@@Patrick_RossYeah, that’s why I mentioned no “separate” bathroom in my initial comment, which the A doesn’t have but it does have a toilet, and an outdoor shower in the back (which I have really only used a couple of times to wash my dog off after a beach day). The porta potti in the A is a good useable size without being insanely heavy when the cassette is full. I can basically walk into any public bathroom (in parks, at the beach, etc) and empty it, no splashing, no mess, no looking for an RV dump station - easy peasy. Looks like the toilet in this Pocket 36B is also a cassette type toilet (i.e. no black tank on the van), but a bit larger, so there’s that re extra weight when full. But it should still be ok to handle for most, methinks. Anyway, that’s it from me about all things Pocket potti! 😊
Love the changes made to the Solis Pocket including the bathroom area and hot water. Now just bring a microwave and you are set. I also love how the dining area makes into a full size bed.

Nobody wants to use the toliet in front of the whole family. And love hot water and the Ecoflow. These things are great! Good job Winnebago. Please hurry up and deliver some.
The toilet/ shower section, plus the 20 gal. LP tank, and the almost double bed size (75” by 53”) sells it for me. Not to forget the 4 passenger capacity with seat belts.
@@cj9667I think you can work it I have two small grandkids we had a PX, with a pop topic in the summertime it's a hot up or you can't stand it, One can sleep in the across the seats on the front with the bed and then, better miles per gallon so you can do two adults and two small kids you work it out
I really like this. Please make a Solis Pocket AWD! For me, even better would be the toilet/shower pan hidden under a seat and a collapsable (into the wall) shower. Not sure if the water tubes are inside the floor or have a heat pad (for winter) on the Solis but I would need that too. Waiting for that one 😀
As it is; this van punches well above its weight! However, I would suggest a few changes. 1. Loose a cabinet and add a Microwave. 2. Loose the gas cooktop and add a non-built-in induction cooktop [Winnebago Revel]. It can be stored in a Solis Pack and mounted via molly panel on the wall in the galley. 3. AC outlet on the backsplash at the counter. 4. Undermount sink with an countertop material insert, creating one long countertop when placed over the sink. 4. A TV mount hung under the microwave shelf; since there won't be a cabinet there anymore. 5. Mechanical Awning. 6. One outside outlet on the camp side. For cooking outside with the induction cooktop. 7. Outside Propane quick connector for gas grills. 8. Ecoflow system should have auto-start if it doesn't already. I would call this option package the "Cake And Eat It Too" package. 😁

I would prefer a one burner, portable induction cooktop that could be set up outside to cook on. No outside quick connection for a portable propane grill? No small microwave? No portable Bluetooth speaker? No small tv? Not everyone camps the same way. I want to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I’m not an active camper. I don’t want to cook every meal on a stove. Sometimes, I want a bag of microwave popcorn and a soda for a snack. Impossible to do in this camper.
I like it. It's not pretty like the k model, but it is functional. I like the sofa. It would be so easy to travel as a single woman. I would feel safer in it. However, I think I would replace the cassette toilet for a Laveo dry flush toilet. I don't want to deal with sewage ever. The Laveo seems like a pretty nice toilet.
Doesn't scream campervan to lie low under the radar for security.... But there's Winnebago and Solis branding all around. So much for being under the radar....
Supply and demand. The b vans are so easy to park and get around town. You don't even need a special license to drive them, therefore most people perfer the b vans.

@@ChopperChad the B vans are easy to get around town because they fit in a regular parking space. I thought since those class A's are the size of a greyhound bus and you need a special license to drive those, it only seemed logical that you would need to upgrade your license to drive one.

May be okay for one person.
Perfect except you blew it with the toilet. Instead of a cheap, plastic porta potty, you should have included a proper cassette toilet. It seems that Winnebago struggles to figure out what Europe has already solved in these small vans. Even Van builders know how to provide a proper toilet.

The Solis Pocket does not come with a pop top option.
How much fresh water and Grey water?
Very nice , well done
What an LP tank?
Is this the 2024?
Make that floor of the wardrobe cabinet removable so tall items can be stored there.
No generator?
I would prefer a one burner, portable induction cooktop that could be set up outside to cook on. No outside quick connection for a portable propane grill? No small microwave? No portable Bluetooth speaker? No small tv? Not everyone camps the same way. I want to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I’m not an active camper. I don’t want to cook every meal on a stove. Sometimes, I want a bag of microwave popcorn and a soda for a snack. Impossible to do in this camper.
you can make popcorn in a pot in the stove
@@mssmssmssmss yes, but I want the convenience of having a microwave, too.
Thank you for the feedback!
@WinnebagoRVs You're welcome. If the price is right, I would buy it. It's just these things are so expensive.
A Trelino urine diverting toilet would be a great fit for this van.
a microwave I’m surprised there’s not one in there what’s up with that?
Is the toilet cassette or composting?
Cassette
I give you 1+ for having the shower in the back (and you can take the wc out).
But 1- for the gas.
If I compare it to the Hymer or Pössl on a Promaster, which is a Fiat Ducato, my decision is clear. This shower at the back -I don't know.
Why would you put USB-A ports? You might as well have put in a parallel port! What modern device uses USB-A?
Doesn't scream campervan to lie low under the radar for security.... But there's Winnebago and Solis branding all around. So much for being under the radar....
Lithium option price? $5,000?
6500
What’s the delay?? Photos are already available for the 36b …
I can’t find any.
@@ChopperChad they’re on various Solis Owners/Wannabes groups from the rally that just happened.
this is perfect
This would work for me.
By far the thour 18 M is the best small RV but the Quilty sucks… I love this model wondering how much
On sale now for 120
I agree
Microwave?
You can buy a 50 or $100 microwave and just bring it along and plug it in once you're plugged in at the campsite or with a generator
I love those new campervans but what I dont
understand is why they cost more than a Class A.
!
I remember, only 4 short yrs ago, you could find a new Travato 59g for 80k
Supply and demand. The b vans are so easy to park and get around town. You don't even need a special license to drive them, therefore most people perfer the b vans.
@@judylowe2688 your making things up. Class A and C still outsell Class B by a huge margin. And a special license has never been required to operate a motorhome in the U.S.
@@ChopperChad the B vans are easy to get around town because they fit in a regular parking space. I thought since those class A's are the size of a greyhound bus and you need a special license to drive those, it only seemed logical that you would need to upgrade your license to drive one.
@@ChopperChad one more thing; you maybe right about the C vans and A vans sell more than the B vans. Because I didn't actually research that information. I was told that by a sales person at LA Mesa!
with the bed made up for more than one person you cannot get to the bathroom, making it pretty useless, plus you no longer have a separate dining area. Other than for one person, does not seem very practical. Also hope there is ventilation in the floor under the “indoor” propane tank in case of leaks, otherwise very dangerous. May be okay for one person.
Swapping out two agm batteries
Yep, needs a microwave
That's what the 2.5 feet space can be for
Perfect except you blew it with the toilet. Instead of a cheap, plastic porta potty, you should have included a proper cassette toilet. It seems that Winnebago struggles to figure out what Europe has already solved in these small vans. Even Van builders know how to provide a proper toilet.
