I met Pierre last year in Nanaimo B.C. The room was packed and hundreds of people waited to speak with him individually. When your time came, he made you feel that you were the only one in the room, made eye contact and listened. He is intelligent, (no ums middle of sentences ) refreshing! He is genuine and humble just as he speaks in this interview is how he is in person. He wants a better Canada and so do I, the one I used to know! Naw dude, maybe in major cities like Vancouver and Toronto.. but I live in Sudbury, ON. A city with around 170k people, and a good size home was around 250k eight years ago. Those same houses are now going for 500k+. My girlfriend and I have a combined income of 200k and we were approved for just under 600k. Our salaries would have been the same 8 years ago. She's a tax manager at an accounting firm and I'm a supervisor at a mine. These salaries have remained stagnant for years, not increasing with inflation. We're lucky to now own a home that's "worth" 480k, but it should have only cost us 300k at best. It's nothing special... remember, this is in a city with not even 200k people and not a lot of tourists. I should ad, when I was living on my own, I remember it was 2016.. I didn't have a down payment ready, but I could've bought a small 2 bedroom home for 160k. It was small, but it was available.. absolutely unheard of now. Canada is broken, and it hasn't taken long.
What about us seniors? No one ever does anything to increase retirement benefits? I believe seniors built this country, and don’t get any increase in benefits for it? We’ll see if Pierre helps all of us ?

A lot of the stuff he yammers on about with mortgage rates. It doesn't effect fixed interest rates, where most people sign on to a mortgage . It effects firms that use real estate assets to borrow and buy more real estate assets but they can die in a fire as far as most of us are concerned.
He isn't using that as a gaslight tactic though. You never see him project a faceless villain. He never projects a faceless victim. All part of the strategy we have come to know as gaslighting.

I just hope he is true to his word and gets this country back to being prosperous and affordable like we used to be. I met Pierre last year in Nanaimo B.C. The room was packed and hundreds of people waited to speak with him individually. When your time came, he made you feel that you were the only one in the room, made eye contact and listened. He is intelligent, (no ums middle of sentences ) refreshing! He is genuine and humble just as he speaks in this interview is how he is in person. He wants a better Canada and so do I, the one I used to know! He is my choice for prime minister without question! 💙🇨🇦❤️
I had the exact same experience meeting him in Ontario a few months ago. Packed house and he looked me in the eye as he listened to my concerns. He has my vote along with all my family and friends.

Great attendance at his rally, and I bet most people never even knew he was having one.
He did one here in Windsor, Ontario and they had rented a room at a banquet hall that was made for day 1,000 people, the estimate later was that we had stuffed around 3,000 people in this room. Every parking spot or empty space near the building was gone. People are parking 5 blocks or more down the side streets just to come here Pierre speak. I was so proud of how many Windsorites came out.

In 2022 I bought my first ever one year paid membership in a political party. This year I extended it to 5 years because of Pierre.
Is that common in Canada? I can register with a party in the states but it doesn’t cost anything.
The cost for membership isn’t much and it helps the party run for a costly election.

It's important to notice how Mr. Poilievre's Wife watches him intently as he speaks. You can't fake that. It's the ultimate sign of respect and admiration. She knows him better than anyone and she admires and values him. That's a very good sign for someone who wants to be Prime Minister. Also shows a strong marriage. He’s got a real mess to clean up. It won’t happen over night but he may start to turn things around in the first 4 year term. I don’t think he’ll be able to everything he wants or promises in one term in the PMO. But if he starts to turn things around in 4 years we should give him a chance to have the time to actually accomplish his goals.

Naw dude, maybe in major cities like Vancouver and Toronto.. but I live in Sudbury, ON. A city with around 170k people, and a good size home was around 250k eight years ago. Those same houses are now going for 500k+.
My girlfriend and I have a combined income of 200k and we were approved for just under 600k. Our salaries would have been the same 8 years ago. She's a tax manager at an accounting firm and I'm a supervisor at a mine. These salaries have remained stagnant for years, not increasing with inflation.
We're lucky to now own a home that's "worth" 480k, but it should have only cost us 300k at best. It's nothing special... remember, this is in a city with not even 200k people and not a lot of tourists.
I should ad, when I was living on my own, I remember it was 2016.. I didn't have a down payment ready, but I could've bought a small 2 bedroom home for 160k. It was small, but it was available.. absolutely unheard of now.
Canada is broken, and it hasn't taken long.
