Oakleys are so generic.. my wife bought a $300 pair and I bought a $10 pair of similar looking sunglasses off Amazon and her Oakley got tore up quicker than mine 😂🤦‍♂️ the coating on the lenses got scratched up so easily. They're just $10 glasses with a $300 label.

your story is the polar opposite of my story. which is this:
i been wearing same pair of oakleys for almost 10 years, my normal vision glasses. any time they break i had it welded together by a jeweler, to keep them alive. i will probably keep doing that same thing for another 10 years, it saved me alot of money, and this pair of glasses i just can't see myself in any other.
the only time they broke was literally stepped on them with my full body weight any pair of glasess would bed or crack or whatever, it was nothing big enough that a local jeweler couldn't fix it.

mine are vision glasses, so yes i had lenses pop out and get lost, this isn't because the glassees were bad it was because they broke undernormal circumstances any glasses would break in. but the lense itself is cut by the optomestrist to fit the frame i don't think they are necessarily oakley lenses in my glasses. the frames is oakley the lenses are likely not if they are vision glasses like mine. keep in mind i had them10 years, so like incident like that losing lense only happened once in 10 years isn't so bad, it was a day of near hurricane conditions and the glasses blew off my face about 30 feet from me, the winds were that powerful that day. it was the same day in california where like like 10 to 25 trucks rolled over in my local area and trees across the neighborhood fell over.
