- If you've been looking for a reason why you should visit the Peak District post lockdown, this video is it! I think it's home to one of the best views in the world! Just a short walk up and you'll be looking out across views of Hope Valley and Ladybower Reservoir.
Are you visiting the Peak District? Make sure you add this gorgeous hike and stunning view to your list!
Where is the Peak District is located?
It's not far from my house - in the North of England between Manchester and Sheffield.
What is the coffeeshop featured?
I've found it! It's actually called The Cow Cafe! Here is the link if you're interested: / thecowcafe

Liked your video. Try The Stepping stones down In Dovedale. Good parking and nice little mobile snack shop for suppplies. Walk up the hill and and maybe do the walk over Ilam Park. Plenty to see with the lambing seating soon 😊
Here here! Good suggestion 👍
Heyyyy! Thanks for the tips! I've never been into Dovedale but it sounds wonderful and the snack shop makes it all the better! Thanks for your lovely comment :)

Loved this video, Sam. Fantastic views! Will definitely go there -and try the coffee shop! The brioche bun looked divine,
AMAZING!! You absolutely should try it!
Lovely video! Thanks for sharing. I think the Monsal Trail near Tideswell, Buxton would be of interest to you. It was the highlight of my stay in the UK. Be sure to visit the small bookshop run by the Cossee's if in Buxton.
This place really is amazing, cool vlog, keep up the work and keep creating! Best of luck on your journey!
Thank you!!
Beautiful place , absolutely gorgeous . Thanks 😊
Omg you’re so so sweet! Thank you!!
Hi crush.. I love View.. I love the view. Thanks for this great video and I hope you visit here in the Philippines for your next vlog..
Ahhhhh I would love to visit the Philippines!!!
Omg looooove it! 😍😍
Ahaha girrrrl thank you sooo much! I’m running out of video ideasssss 😂😂
Swedish "Fika" Coffee and cake break and a time to reflect.
I expected to see a Gingerbread cottage in those woods, spooky at night. Ok! Those shoes! I'm not going there again !😁 Near me is a reservoir called "Lac de Guerledan" it's on the Nantes Brest Canal. It's the same scenario as Ladybower. They drained it a few years back for maintenance and you could walk through the sunken village, the chapel still had it's bell.
The outtakes, I didn't know you had Suggs from Madness with you 😁 Lovely video again , always nice to see the old hunting ground.
Ahhhhh that's sooo interesting! I absolutely have to explore Nantes and France in general one day I haven't been since I was a little kid. The chapel still had it's bell - gosh you are a wealth of knowledge! That's crazy! ahahahahhaa Suggs. I don't know why he's walking like that in the outtakes - must be his 'Baggy Trousers'.... p.s. I'm definitely going to get myself some boots for these walks! ahaahhaha
Can't argue with this, Bamford edge is gorgeous, hoping to go back up there after lockdown is over with lol.
Definitely! This is an old video but I also can’t wait to head back once this madness is over and see this gorgeous view again! Stay safe x
Amazing as usual
Ahhhhh you're so kind! Thank you for watching! Hope you're camera journey works out!
@@BellaDiary thank you 🤗
I’d never heard of the Peak District until a few months ago, when it came up on another channel I watch. it looks so beautiful! now I really want to go!
It is! It's the best!
Totally agree with Anastasia - it’s the best!! You guys should go - I’m sure you’d love it! Out of interest, what channel introduced you to the peaks?
@@BellaDiary it’s called Foxes Afloat. They’re a couple who live in a narrow boat and cruise the canals and they’ve been in the Peak District a couple of times, including over the last few months while in lockdown.
Lovely video, as usual. Suggested visits / walks - Alport Castles from Fairholmes, Padley Gorge, Surprise View / Bolehill Quarry, Eccles Pike / Castle Naze, Fairbrook Naze from Snake Pass, Mellor Cross
Heyyyy Phil! Thank you so so so so much! Surprise View sounds absolutely wonderful - is that the one in the Lake District? Writing your recommendations down right now! Thank you very much for watching!! xx
@@BellaDiary I’m not sure if you follow her but Athena Mellor on RUclips has a book out about walks in the Peak District. I don’t have it myself yet but it looks like a lovely book.
@@BellaDiary Surprise View is near Grindleford in the Peak District.
I live in Sheffield and regularly pop to the Hope Valley area, this is a fab snapshot of such a gorgeous place. I'm loving your videos, love the length of them and your cosy editing style. Have you been to Uppermill in Saddleworth? I used to go there as a kid (I grew up near Manchester) and would be so interested to see what it's like now 😄👍 x
Sorry for my late reply!! Thanks soooo much for watching! It’s such a gorgeous place isn’t it? Very jealous you live so close! I’ve never been - is it worth adding to my list? x
Love from East London
welcome back sister, you're ok😘👍🏻
Yes, thank you
@@BellaDiary I'm so proud of you 😊👍🏻
Nice vid .I’ve been up there many times xxx
It's such a lovely part of the country isn't it!
Great views from up there on this clip Sam! No snow this time, so easier to climb and film. Not far for Jan and I to travel, so will definitely add to our list this April/May! Take care and look forward to the next one!
Once things are back to normal I’d definitely recommend a trip - there’s a lovely coffee van at the bottom and they service really good homemade cakes! Hopefully it’ll be back after lockdown! Stay safe steve - thanks for watching!
I love the Derwent Valley , it’s only 20 mins away from where we are in Sheffield .
Ahhhh it's so pretty isn't it? Have you been to Bamford Edge? I'd very much recommend it! x
@@BellaDiary No I haven’t in all honesty I usually walk around Ladybower when I venture that way, do you travel over the snake pass to get there ? I mean from where you live to get to Bamford or do you Chaple en le frith and through Castletown ?
Nice video of my home town. Come back again soon
Aww thank you so so much for watching my video! I love your home town xx
@@BellaDiary I’ll be binge watching your other videos now ❤️

Never been! Where is it?
@@BellaDiary I think it is somewhere around Bristol. Minehead is a beautiful town and it has a beach too.
