finally putting my 7” Maxtrac on my 2010 2WD 1500 this weekend. i had the same kit plus a 3” body kit on my 2002 2wd 1500 running 38s & it performed flawlessly. i send everybody to MaxTrac who wants to lift their 2WD Ram
Well bug big thank you for deciding on what lidt kit i needed.. unsure how tall you are but am 5:12 feet tall. And as soon as you came out the truck i thought you would need to hop out.. thought it would be to tall.. but man cant wait to order this... This weekend ill be getting some 10s some mtx speakers and the entire setup.. and blast music in mexico like no other.. came back to Florida with brand new motor no more leaks taller lift brand nee set of tires wheels ill get somthing like this style in all black.. mud terrains... Amd go with dark blue with toms of sparkle.. and leave it at that.. and as soon as i come back ill habe to get a backup camera and touch screen for reversing since it well be taller then stock.. thanks so much.. going to get this lift maybe mid October or first 2 weeks of November.. problem i had was i didmt habe any real vehicle to go with.. cars are no bueno speed bumps are way to high.. got to show love to these old trucks. Have a ford expedition which I would also love to do in the nesr future. Thanks for showing love to this old trucks cant go wrong with them.. and glad i am going to enjoy the experience first hand like it was a brand new truck off the lot. Much love from Florida
It is not advised to add additional height to this kit. The shock stroke length will not be correct and the geometry of the suspension components will not be correct. The ball joints can be compromised as well and lead to failure.

Very informative I’m finally getting my truck lifted on 3/5/18 , I have question wheel requirements @4:19 what do you mean by don’t go over 9”? What dose that mean ? I’m about to buy a,set of 22x10 fuels -19mm 5x139.7. W/ 325/50r22 am I doing somthing wrong
Hi Carlos, please phone in and speak to Tim before you invest a ton of money in wheels that will not work with your lift. Call him tomorrow Monday at 702-267-6100 he will make sure you get the correct size wheel
jesse mclaughlin 35/12.5/22 -44 offset on a 6” BDS LIFT , i shouldve of listened and stay’d with 20” wheels 9” wide with a 12” tire i’d get better gas mileage lol I still love everything about my truck , i havent had any problems , but i get it now
He made a comment on a two piece drive shaft needing a carrier bearing but this is the only time I've heard of needing it and don't know what part that is or where to find it. Can you point me in the right direction?
Hey with adding the 1.5 in spacer in back dose it level the truck after the lift or what’s the difference between the 7in front and 3in rear kit vs the 7front and 4.5 rear kit

I don’t think there is a 3.7 specific kit I’d plan on using the one for the 4.7 because the springs will be a little bit harder than stock to support the bigger engine but the ones for the 4.7 should work that’s what I would use to lift a 3.7 truck
This will raise the front of your Ram 7" over the stock height. If you currently have a 2" leveling kit this would give you a net of 5" of additional height.

I currently have this lift on my ram and I love it! but I’ve always wonder if I can add a coil spacers on the front to add more lift to it??

Not required however any time you add that much tire re-gearing is always going to maximize torque

This kit is designed to level the truck you wont need to add anything else to the rear end to gain a level stance
