This almost sounds like a mixture of Mark Hamill's famous Joker and Jeff Bennett's version from the animated series "Batman: The brave and the bold."
Interesting comparison! Oddly enough, I am Jeff's voice double for the Blaze and the Monster Machines mobile games!

Why thank you. Luckily I have gotten a chance to perfect it even more since I am currently in the middle of filming the final season of Nightwing: Escalation as The Joker. The first few episodes should be debuting later this summer. Definitely check it out if you can.

It is a fan made web series, so you can find the first 2 seasons already online (though I am not in those seasons). They upped their game all around for the 3rd and final series bringing in a lot of talented crew members and actors to make the last season something special.
If Jack Nicholson did the monologue, it wouldn't sound as golden as this.

The terrifier 2 brought me here. this guy is a magnificent actor. This was really enjoyable he's got the Joker down pat.
This is what acting is like, make up, hair, costume and all. But the best part of it, is putting your soul into it all. And David can do it! He is going places, don't you dare give up! 👌🎬

I'm deeply impressed by this performance. The authentic switching between laughter & seriousness, between apparently rationality & insane outbursts is definitely Joker worthy.

Daaaamn, that was great! Just saw "Terrifier" last night on Netflix and thought I'd try to find more of your stuff. I thought you were fabulous as Art. Your facial expressions and body mechanics really made him the stand out of that film. I really enjoyed that performance, as demented as the character is. I hope you go far in your career.

This Joker trumps every Joker I've seen on the big screen. You actually played the character
Definitely think you would be a great choice for a big screen joker, your vocal performance fits the character perfectly and your physical performance as Art shows you can nail the manic energy and mood swings in a way that no screen actor has been able to pull off yet, in my opinion. Also, one thing i think the movie versions of the Joker are missing is the use of prosthetics to exaggerate his facial features. Every film version has simply looked like the actor with facepaint, i would love to see a joker with the more gaunt, elongated, face from the comics

Holy crap that was incredible! I watched Terrifier a few months ago, and your character made me scared of clowns all over again. 😝 Keep being awesome and I can’t wait to see what else you do in the future. Best wishes!
finally an actor who understands the joker... as u said recently, hollyweird keeps screwing up his character... u nailed it perfectly... to how he speaks, laughs, thinks, and the gestures...this is the true OG joker! well done sir... oh btw dis u lose your PW for this channel? u commented a few years ago but not since..but that could be cuz u have been busy with the filming of terrifier 2 and everything else involving it's phenomenal success. Unless u made a new channel and if so i'd love to subscribe. I saw terrifier 2 !!!! i was so depressed cuz long story short my local theaters showed it wasn't playing and the next city over was but only for 2 weeks and i was busy, but then i saw it did show up at local theaters but a couple weeks late and i didn't know this so i was really sad and i even watched a few scenes from the movie which spoiled that part i just couldn't resist... but then i searched one final time and it was playing in oxnard at noon (yeah november 15th! 😁🤘👏) and i went with my friend...the theaters didn't have loud bass or loud speakers which adds to the entertainment value and cinematic experience and tension and jump scare intensity but other than that it was a blast and very good movie. Oh in one of your interviews u said there are 2 things that bother you involving gore and Damien had BOTH in the movie..can i ask which 2 things u were referring to... is it like a phobia u have or something that makes u squeamish? Anyway love u man... u were fabulous as usual! If u can tell Damien the ghost girl's makeup was fricking OUTSTANDING...probably the coolest makeup i've ever seen just the entire look and i'm a makeup artist. Finally an original film with old skool slasher style (my local pharmacist assistant said she loved it and that she thinks the old skool slasher style from the lighting, to the dark blood, the practical special effects etc is more scary because it looks real... the more realistic it looks the more scary it is.I know Art was originally just a loony evil guy then he is resurrected by satan or aliens or something but for the most part it's realistic and makes me think of john wayne gacy a little (the actor who played gacy in the netflix show monster: jeffrey dahmer story may get his own show cuz he was chilling. That short screen time he had freaked me out more than evan peters did the entire show lol If you don't have time to watch the show please check out gacy's scene it's on youtube titled: DAHMER - Monster: EP 10 John Wayne Gacy.....and the channel is: Prisoner. Anyway I also love how Damien made it 2 and a half hours but i hate that some people complained kt was too long (the complainers ruin everything) i LOVED THAT IT WAS THAT LONG..when i first saw its running time i was enthralled.. cuz once again thats an original idea and Damien said don't worry the third one wot be 3 hours.. no man that was appreciated by most horror fans but most horror films are too short... just stick with your original ideas and don't let the complainers ruin it for the rest of us. And to prove this, when the movie ended I checked my clock several times cuz i couldn't believe it was over i thought that there had to be a mistake. The time flew by so fast and it felt like an hour to me. That's when you know a movie is good. In fact I was heartbroken when found out INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE was originally suppose to be a little mover 3 hours long but they trimmed it quite a bit cuz they didn't have the confidence that mainstream audiences would wanna sit through a 3 hour movie especially one about vampires. Well they were wrong I mean look at GONE WITH THE WIND, Apocalypse Now, Casino, Titanic lol I hope Damien makes terrifier 3 at least 2 and a half hours but not less than 2 hours. It was so will done the time flew by and i didn't want it to end. I asked my friend 2-3 times what the time was cuz i at first thought the movie run time was incorrect by Damien himself said it was 2.5 hours.. i was like no it can't be over! Fantastic film..you guys worked really hard and it sure paid off... Bravo! Love you guys xxooxoo

Why isn’t this guy going to play joker in the new Batman movie series not saying that the guy who’s playing joker in the new Batman series bad right now but this is David Howard Thorton this is the guy who plays art the clown and he’s doing the joker he wouldn’t be so bad in the movies
I feel like everything is always weighed against Mark Hamill's voice to the point where if you don't hear any Hamill in their take people will consider it lesser. Exceptions being those before Hamill and Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight for obvious reasons.
