ok as a jeans-in-winter-only girl who needs to stop wearing my black puffer I already love this series - suggestion but if you gave us some actual examples and links for each that would be amazing!!
I own most of these kinds of coats, so to me it's more like "this is what you should wear with your coat" when I think you meant it the other way around. It's a good concept, I agree with what you said. I have exactly one puffer, which I currently only wear in the yard to take the dog out. Now I know what to pair it with, lol.
It was super helpful! I would also love to see your video about accessories, i want to add them to my looks more often but i dont really know how to choose them or how to make them go with the outfit
I want a long black wool or wool blend coat. I think it would look good with jeans, athleisure, and skirts/dresses. I saw one at the thrift last winter and now wish I would've gotten it. Not because of this video suddenly but just been thinking about it.
As someone who primarily wears skirts and dresses year round, i actually feel very self conscious about wearing traditional trench coats with it lol. I'm a senior college student and i always tend to stand out because I like wear printed skirts, dresses, sweaters and scarves. My sweater collection is my pride and joy. It doesn’t bother me much it makes me happy, but traditional trench coats always seemed so much more mature looking than what I'm going for. It almost feels like too much? (It's also why i don't wear my nicer loafers a lot) I just don't have the confidence to pull it off (I'm saying this, but I'm side eying my cowboy boot and leather shoe collection, lol). I do have this very simple vintage trench that has a removable lining. I loved wearing last winter. It's very simple but since i basically covers my entire outfit, i only wear it if I'm freezing lol or with a printed scarf. I'm a peacock >
I never got a trench coat cause I don't think it matches my style for similar reasons, but I found a duffle coat that is softer and more twee looking, and still warm and practical for winter. Mine is long and camel coloured with plaid inside, I can imagine someone with a bolder style (like yours?) would look great in a red one :)
I bought a vintage suede jacket that had a fake fur lining and it stank of cigarettes so badly and it said don’t dry clean etc so I washed it on a gentle wash with gentle detergent for wool clothing, put it on wet so it didn’t lose its shape and then put it onto a shaped hanger to hang dry and it worked perfectly. Obviously proceed with caution but just saying it is possible without ruining the piece! ❤
I like this style of video, right now I’m trying to thrift my new winter coat afeghan style because I’m tired of looking like a trash bag during winter
Loved it ! I do wear most of the time pants that are not jeans but don’t have patterns either, like basic grey or black pants. What would you recommend?
I always think that people who purport to be fashion influencers should educate themselves a little bit on fashion since people are looking to you for knowledge. It's more than OK to just like what you like and offer advice, but you should at least know what an actual trench coat is. Just because a coat is full-length and substantial does not make it a trench coat. Most of the coats you displayed were not trenches.
So it's okay for me to wear a fur coat from twenty yrs ago but it's not okay for me to get it now 🥴🤔. If it's in a store then it's already been slaughtered lol and, no I'm not with killing animals inhumanely but the way they kill those animals to take off the fur from their bodies has not changed.
The difference is, when I thrift my fur coats (I own 3 and they were all shockingly cheap, like $7) my money goes to the thrift store. If I were to buy a brand new fur coat from a store my money goes to that business which will only continue to produce more since there is a demand for it.
this was so needed please free me from my black puffer jacket hell 🙏

Exactly correct
Pls elaborate
I think I understand but still curious

Does anyone have a dupe for that green puffer that bella hadid was wearing in the background?
Girl your audio is so loud
The editing is too choppy--your sentences are all mashed together.
