I don't consider this country...I do not mean this in a bad way...This album is refreshing as hell...It feels like a mix from the 60s 70s and 80s rock soul with some country...This album is the best thing he's done...

Roy Villegas that’s why I love Eric Church, I feel it’s more soulful country and you feel it’s something else, which is why he has such a huge following, I’ve had a lot of private messages sent to me because I said this was country, I find it hilarious that some are offended that I called it country, music is just that music, It makes you feel what you feel and it shouldn’t matter if I think it’s country and someone else thinks it’s another genre. It’s just GOOD music that we all can enjoy.

I flew to Philadelphia and my oldest boy and I saw him 5/4 in Pittsburgh. Best show I have ever seen! Two weeks later I took my youngest boy to see him in LA. Great shows and now great memories with my sons! XOXO Eric Church!

I got the pleasure of seeing Chief in concert in Denver mother's day weekend 2019. It was by far the best concert I've ever been to. It eas a surprise for my wife of 20 years, and we were going through a hard time, and i had moved out of our home, and it was headed for divorce. I truly believe hos concert brought us back together. As of last week i am back in my home with my wife. Hos concert was 3 hours of him and his band, and it was so awesome. Thanks chief for whay you did in Denver.

In my opinion which probably doesn’t mean much but Eric Church will always be the closest artist (from an emotional and feeling stand point) to Hank Williams in this day and age of music. This song just proves it the more you listen to it great work Chief keep it up!!!

I'm a college student that drives 5.5-6 hrs to college but I have a 6 CD player in the car so I like to collect CDs for the ride. Any time I visit Walmart I make sure to check the CD section to see if there is anything that I don't have in Eric Church or ACDC, but given the choice between the two I will always take the Eric Church. I had a few songs downloaded but was still listening to a bunch of others until I heard "Sinners Like Me" and it felt like something that described myself. At that point I was hooked and had to get as many CDs as I could. Of course it is limited to the Walmart selections so I have only collected Carolina (my first and probably favorite album), Desperate Man, Mr. Misunderstood, and Caught in the Act, but I hope to continue the collections into the future

There’s another song from 1983 called Drowning Man. It is haunting and it starts off slow, but as you listen to it more, the more you hear the wonderful melody. This version of the title is so different from the 1983 song.
