Honestly eric is just one of the most soothing people to listen to. I find his music so damn genuine & heartfelt. Also - the entire Mr Misunderstood album was basically sent down from heaven from God himself in my opinion. He can do no wrong.

I think he's one of the most sincere artists left in Nashville, and he's trying to ride the line between traditional country and a sort of southern Bruce Springsteen. These videos, with the kid and the continuing storyline, are really cool and creative. But I'm mostly just here to give my kudos to Eric for his Opry performance immediately after the Vegas shootings. That earned him my respect permanently.

This song is so relatable, and Eric Church is awesome. When I was a kid I used to travel during the summers to work with my mom. I couldn't wait to see Daniel when I came home. His aunt and mine were best friends, and I'd tag along doing sewing patterns all kinds of boring stuff just to see Daniel, who lived next door to his Aunt Shelley. He'd find a reasons to go over there, too, even though we were too shy to speak to each other. We started dating in high school and I always thought we'd end up together, but he died of cancer at 25. It sometimes feels as if I'm still waiting to go home to him.
Makes me sad...came out 4 or 5 years after I graduated high school..only difference is I left my small town and my gf stayed. Only been back to see her once...that was 11 years ago.

As I learn the Eric Church back catalogue, backwards it seems, some songs I should have known about for a long time suddenly appear out of nowhere. I heard this for the first time a few days ago and fell in love with it straightaway. All his songs are just so good, you know when you hear his name you won`t be disappointed. This is what I love about Eric`s music, he writes so many different styles of song, but they always have a message in them that I can relate to, whether it be songs like this or Drowning Man to Drink in My Hand or Two Pink Lines.

Eric Church (The Chief) is a walking jukebox, with 6-7 decades of genres imprinted on his soul. Which can be heard exactly who done the song. I bet he can hear every word in his head. without missing a note or a beat...and I net he can hear every word in the voice that he originally heard it. I amaze people with my ear for music, my memory of exact lyrics and instrumentation, but of all, my inability to forget the lyrics no matter what kind of music, well maybe that's not true for a few genres, but a 100% not everyone. The Chief has a way of marrying all kinds of music without losing The Eric Church groove and honest truth. One of a kind. Nothing generic about you! You are certainly one of a kind. Never been been better, call it like it is, unapologetically. Ypu speak truth in your lyrics that nobody can deny. As I learn the Eric Church back catalogue, backwards it seems, some songs I should have known about for a long time suddenly appear out of nowhere. I heard this for the first time a few days ago and fell in love with it straightaway. All his songs are just so good, you know when you hear his name you won`t be disappointed. This is what I love about Eric`s music, he writes so many different styles of song, but they always have a message in them that I can relate to, whether it be songs like this or Drowning Man to Drink in My Hand or Two Pink Lines.

I absolutely love this song, especially live. One of they absolutely best nights of my life was to attend your concert in Vegas at Route 91, witch ended with a horrific ending to a wonderful weekend. It's heartfelt to see you play in such a wonderful time, and have someone tear is all down, for no reason at all. Still a huge fan. I amaze people with my ear for music, my memory of exact lyrics and instrumentation, but of all, my inability to forget the lyrics no matter what kind of music, well maybe that's not true for a few genres, but a 100% not everyone. The Chief has a way of marrying all kinds of music without losing The Eric Church groove and honest truth.
