Long lines cause problems at Pittsburgh's Anthrocon

Thousands of people waited for hours in the heat and humidity to get into Pittsburgh's furry convention on Thursday, forcing organizers to close registration lines. KDKA-TV's Barry Pintar reports.

We did. Most of us did anyway. this WAS the pre-registration line.

Lot of folks did. One of my friends pre registered MONTHS before AC and it STILL took him 2-3 hours to get his badge. There were folks in the pre reg line that took up to 4+ hours

Pre reg still took hours to get badge. Friend i went with pre reg'd months prior and it still took him almost three hours to get through the specific pre reg line.

Took me 5 + hours to get mine and I went later in evening and there were still ton of folks behind me. This is just embarrassing. More so as it was problem LAST year though not this bad! Part of the other problem is you all had to go through same line just to get in and THEN you had to wait in line again to get badge. They need to start giving option and shipping badges to people. Other large cons like Fanexpo, GENCON and others can do it, AC should be implementing it as well!
