- Hold on to your tails, Pittsburgh! Anthrocon has returned to Pittsburgh to embrace the fabulous fun of the furries. Daisy was at the convention center this morning to get a first look of Anthrocon 2024.

I didn’t know American also had amusing news peoples. I knew in Oz we certainly do, with cases like “Captain Underpants” and motorised Eskys about the roads of Perth, and Japan has excellent news as well. Though it is pleasant to see an amusing and pleasant news interview does exist in America.
In follow up of the underpants hero, in the interview he said he’d already gotten a call from Victoria’s Secret about the matter.
So nice to see some positive coverage on furries by local news sources. The furry fandom receives too much hate, even today, so having local news bring a positive light to the fandom is a welcome sight indeed.

The convention itself is pretty cheap. As someone else said, just like $30 per day.
Now, the traveling, accommodations, food, etc… that’s a lot.

Okay I’ll be more specific if you take a picture or video with them with their consent. The anrthcoon security will come and escort you out citing you are causing violence and will threaten you with calling the police . When in reality you did nothing wrong.

@@anthrolitestudios Some fursuits have a small fan in them so they have to move around a bit for the air to get in the entire thing. (I think)

It is kind of ridiculous, but that's kind of the point. Events like conventions are meant for people with common (often niche) interests to come together and express themselves freely. Maybe it's weird, but there's nothing wrong with being a little weird every now and then. :)
