Initially, my image of Solange was that of a Radio Disney star or something and now it's like an alternative R&B/Soft Rock vibe. Beyonce meanwhile has always been mainstream R&B and Pop. I never nor have I ever thought of them in the same breath no more than being biologically related lol. They're just too different. I don't think Solange has ever wanted an extremely mainstream sound and look anyway tbh.
