Koolman7733 I was hoping for the same but I read that the vehicle will not play video when moving. It should play certain video file types but I haven't figured out what type yet. I think you have to load the correct file onto a USB drive and plug it in the console.
I just bought a 2013 Equinox. I have paired my iPhone with the MyLink and opened up Pandora and the icon stays greyed out. I have deleted the pairing and re-paired the phone. I've deleted my Pandora app on my phone and reinstalled. I've installed the app then restarted my phone and it still doesn't work. It would only work when I connected through the USB. Every video I've watched they have connected to Pandora via bluetooth. What can I do?
I know the option to view photos is on the home screen too, and when I loaded some onto my USB drive, I was able to get only about 3 of 10 to show up (I was stationary at the time). Anyone figure out if there is a size limit or other restriction to the images? Yes, this is probably a novelty and not something I would use much, but just having the option to do it makes me want to figure it out. It would be cool if you could have the pictures be part of a screensaver for the screen if you wanted.
I'm in the process of buying a Chevy Cruze, but it doesn't have the actual my link installed, jut some factory satellite radio. I was wondering if there was an after market stereo through Pioneer or Kenwood that is comparible to the my link I've looked at the Pioneer fxh -700BT and 3400 BT which have similar features compatible with Android smartphone technology. I think the my link is awesome, but was told if it didn't come with the car then it can't be installed and I'd have to look at something else.
I have a 2013 Cruze LT1 with mylink. How do i clear the onboard "cache" of songs for my ipod connected with the usb? After unplugging the ipod to load more music, I plug in the ipod and there are multiple downloads of songs.

I have a 2016 malibu, and mylink system doesn't have the navi, I've seen a video where u take out the whole system and plug it back in a the navi app appears on the mylink system. (video doesn't explain how they got the app) do u have any idea how or if this can be done?

watson hastings just buy the Mylink upgrade. It’s not that much and it’s much better than aftermarket bullshit.

I did not need to start Pandora, I just clicked Pandora on the radio screen and a minute or 2 later out comes the music.
I hate this mylink, the ui is terrible, the fonts suck, im working on cracking it to where you can put a custom logo.. but its not easy -.-
