My two cents: Contains pectin, useful for cleaning arteries. Thanks for the list of benefits. In the Caribbean we use it as a porridge. Grated or blended, cooked 15-20 minutes. Add coconut milk or dairy or soy milk, spices, sugar or honey to taste. Enjoy as breakfast cereal. Add favourite nuts or fruit, raisins dried cranbe-

Can I eat raw plantains?
Yes, you can eat the ripe ones raw. The green, unripe ones are a bit more difficult to eat. Some people do try eating the green ones though. A majority of people around the world prefer it cooked. Thanks for watching 🙏

Bananas make my daughter constipated..These plantains have a wonderful healthy make up I would love to introduce her too them but I would feel terrible if she gets constipation...is this a fruit that will cause harm to her bowels?
