Glade that you tried the curry chicken noodles. That is my favourite curry chicken noodles stall and during peak hours, the queue can be as long as 45min to an hour.

What most don't know, the chicken curry noodle comes with boneless chicken meat and next few stalls away, you will find the flavorful Hokkein Prawn noodles. Hong Lim Food Center is directly behind the Chinatown Point Mall which housed the famous Song Fa Bak Kut Teh.

The crust of the egg tarts are made by a chef and the eggs filling is by the owner of the stall (Not the aunty selling it). Combining the best to be the best, what can you ask for? Super yummy. They have 2 stalls, in chinatown and in bukit timah hawker centre. Buy 6 and store them in a box for easy take away and storing. Put them in the fridge if you are not eating it within a day. Warm it up or have it cold. It is still nice.

You can also try Peranakan food like the Nonya kuehs and Kueh Pie Tees.
Also herbal soup with pumpkin rice. Lao Huo Tang sells good pig stomach soup. Satay and otah are also really good. Nasi lemak with blue rice (bluepea) is kinda in. Murtabak is an upgrade of roti prata with filling, kinda like tortellini. Ok I can go on forever. 😁

Office workers can eat these (in the hawker centre) everyday hahaha but I'm glad someone treats these like delicacies. It's probably hard to find these of the same quality outside of Singapore and Malaysia. It's really affordable for lower income folks as well. I think its nicer than noodles you can find even in 5 star hotels. One plate is enough to make me full so I have no idea how you ate so much haha

Hey Mike! Wish you could come and have a look-see around the Geylang Serai Bazaar (in Singapore, obvs). The food at the bazaar is sub-par, but is honestly a big upgrade from the bazaars from the previous years.
But the food at Geylang Serai itself is fantastic. Lots of Malay/Indian food to try (food which you have yet to try, since you mostly try Chinese/Oriental foods. Singapore is more than that!)
