Thanks, great review Chuck. I also chose the R1 Pro for the better clearance and angle adjustments.
I found your video while looking for help on configuration in Lightburn with my Xtool D1. The Atomstack instructions are pretty vague, the rotary motion is far from accurate even though i input the precise diameter/circumference.
Trying to generate a circle gives me a figure 8 around the tumbler.
Did you connect to an Xtool D1 or an Atomstack laser?

Thanks for the great review. I am just about to buy a roller for my laser and am looking for the best option.
Looking at your review makes me wonder.... what is the point of including a rotary roller in a kit when the handle is so flexible and offers so many possibilities?
Where do you think the roller would be useful?

roller is easier a day quicker to set up and start engraving imo

Thanks for the great video! I see on the Atomstack storefront an R1 Pro and R1 v2 Rotary. The specs seem identical. Is the v2 a new improved version of the R1 Pro or they are the same with the Pro just including both chuck and rollers?

I would think so as long as you have the plug in on your engraver for the rotary tool
