In real time, Shadic is really all you need to destroy Solaris. Shadic himself is already stronger then a super form and it says on the Sonic 06 menu (Not really sure if it was menu but correct me if wrong) that it really didn't need all three of them to defeat Solaris, but Sonic himself.
Yeah but you gotta remember that when they say that they mean Sonic is a necessary factor considering most people would agree that between the hedgehogs Shadow was the strongest one in this game. Solaris exists in all points in time so you would need 3 people of equal or more power to defeat it. Shadic has the power to make temporary clone of himself so he was able to handle it. Basically what I'm trying to get at here is that if Solaris didn't exist in all points in time then one of the Super Hogs would've been enough to defeat Solaris on their own. But Solaris DID exist in all points in time so Sonic was needed for his defeat.
Technically, since they were in a Time Void, outside of the timelines, there was only one Solaris to destroy. That's a small detail that most people don't notice. Solaris is absorbing all the timelines, merging them into one, so there wouldn't be an actual need to hit him from multiple timelines.
