It’s the great thing about this show. The more you rewatch it, the funnier it gets. Once the shock and horror of the gore disappears, you realise it’s actually a comedy 😆
@@blahaj784 It's not just the gore, it's that both Hannibal and Will are so unpredictable on first watch that it stressed you tf out with all the gaslighting and mind games, but when you know what's going to happen, it becomes really funny lol
Honestly Laurence Fishburne's Jack Crawford was one of the highlights of the entire show.
His Dr. Raymond Langston was my favorite CSI after Grissom, as well. He just has the right mix of humor and gravitas for those types of roles, I think.

In the Matrix Morpheus was named after the greek god of dreams, in a movie franchise whose entire premise is based on the concept that humans are not aware they are “asleep” in a virtual reality simulation, with Morpheus even going so far as to directly ponder the question of how one would know if they were asleep if they never woke.
Whereas for Morpheus and the characters of the Matrix this is a very real query with real ramifications, Jack Crawford doesn’t have time for all that metaphysical nonsense, and just states he knows when he’s awake, a complete, almost ludicrously tongue and cheek rejection of one of Lawrence Fishburne’s most famous characters
