#BikesandBeards
Tim is the goat, smoked em in that 4th race. Definitely hope to see more footage of you guys there for his races in the future, need that team support
I'm not a christian, or even religious, but I really like the way you share a verse here and there. So many people aren't willing to live honestly, with themselves and others, so more power to you.
Swap meet "finds". Exactly how I restored my old 47el Knucklehead!
Swap meets like this one are few and far between. I'm drooling over all of these great items!!
It’s amazing how buying a particular motorcycle changed your life by bringing new, good friends into your circle.
yeah
@@BikesandBeards yup.
It does and and it seems any cool hobby will do the same
Craig with that Rubik's cube almost killed me from laughing so hard
Man Tim's bike looked awesome 😎 so dang cool I hope the parts he found will work good on the BIKE . And I pray that you are feeling better too 🙏🏼
thanks it kicked my butt for the weekend but im good now
@@BikesandBeards Glad to hear it brother
I think that quote was what I needed to hear today. Homeless, watching bike videos because my bike is in storage far away, but I'm closing on a new home today 3 states away. I'm anxious about the whole process, but that made me feel better.
Look after yourself, Samuel. When you get your new place, before you know it, you'll be out and about on your storage bike. Have faith, my dude.
Im excited for you, this a new chapter in your journey, Im sure it will turn out great
@@JimBiddle. , thank you, sir. I appreciate the optimism. It's been a long hard road of the past year to get here where I'm at now.
@@BikesandBeards, thank you. The entertainment you bring helps to get through dark times, and helps the patience that it takes to make things happen slowly to get to a better place. Y'all are much appreciated.
Sean, I can't believe you've never been to a swap meet! I mean I never have either, but you were made for this!
haha I m so new to the old motorcycle thing. I still have no idea what Im looking at. but Im learning slowly.
Ahh man it was awesome to see Tim getting after it on his bike … and the luck to have Matt there with Craig picking the parts 👌
This brings back memories! My father built a WLA chopper after Vietnam and sold it in the early 90s, we saw it at a swap meat about 8years ago for alot more than we could afford..
Did y'all tell the guy that your Pa built it?
@@samuelmoore8154 yep, my dad instantly knew it was his old bike. I got my misses to send me photos of the photos we have of the bike. Only thing changed was the bars and front wheel. It still had the home-made exhaust that my dad and uncle made. He wouldn't let either of us ride it or even negotiate on price.
@@rickoshae1687 Man, that's a shame.
Amen! “ He is the Answer to life” Jesus Christ! Wow! Powerful statement to hear at a swap meet! So cool.
Pretty awesome that guy preaching the good word and being helpful. Love you guy’s god bless and keep building that sick bike
yeah that was cool
Absolutely outstanding video. That has got to be one of your very best. Being surrounded by so many HD guru's. All those parts. All that knowledge. All those great people and beautiful weather. Tim drag racing too!....He certainly is the real thing. What a great day and a few more part's for the motorcycle.....It doesn't get much better...... Thank you!!
Sorry to hear you were ill Sean, hope you're all better now. Craig made some good buys there from what I can see. and thanks for the drag at the end, love that stuff.
yeah he did
@@BikesandBeards good.
Great swap meet, thanks for taking us along to witness, really enjoyed it, the people seem great, all the best to you all
That looks like so much fun! All the vintage bikes…. And the Vintage minded dudes. So cool
It was great meeting you and helping with the build!!
thanks so much
Matt sure knows his stuff, what an awesome swap meet, they had just about everything there, good to see you got some bits, and great to see a bit of the drag racing at the end, cool. Thanks for posting,Best wishes to you all, from, Auckland, New Zealand. I,ve got a funny feeling Matt's gonna win the race.
Knowledge is the most powerful thing. Even if it’s just about a motorcycle.
You started with nothing, but with knowledge, you ended with something.
Knowledge won’t rust.
Knowledge won’t age.
Knowledge will not betray you if correct.
Knowledge gives you the answers you need.
If you need more parts you should try the national meet in Wauseon Ohio it is july 15th,16th and 17 and on the 15th they will have vintage mc racing nothing newer than 1980. It's racing all day on the 15th and a huge swap meet all 3 days. And 95% of the parts are all oooolllldddd
Restoring old bikes takes $$$ . Enjoyed the show
Swamp meets are great as long as you know what you want in detail. Or you come home with a bunch of parts that you can’t use. I learned the hard way to bring my motorcycle’s parts catalog with me.
I love seeing Tim in your videos, so glad you guys got connected!
Craig is the best, I could watch his own show all day
I will hold you to that if we ever start a Craig channel
Please do.
Love swap meets, I found myself smiling all the way through the video. Thanks!
"A lot of guys with beards that look like Tim". At the last bike show I took my son to we decided to split up for a while and he basically noticed the same thing and wandered how he would ever find me. He made the observation that I look like I could be related somehow to almost everybody there(not to mention we all were dressed in basically the same kind of clothes). I ask, what are we, a bunch of sheep? Apparently, well, yeah, maybe.
Think of it as a very large family.
That was a really good episode, Swap meet run down and had the best ending. Thanks!
LOL the edits were so funny! Snoop dawg and the rubix cube made me spill coffee
nice
You cant beat good humor !
Nice to see & hear the old Harleys going down the track. They haven't had one of these events in our state for quite a while now.
You are welcome.
The Walneck's annual book was the way to buy, build or sell your hard to find parts. I traveled the Country in the late '90's early 2000's following the Walneck's calendar and selling a lot of NOS parts.
The guy with the dog is Todd from hunting Harleys he is extremely knowledgeable with all things harley
was about to say the same thing... could be interesting seeing Todd, Matt e Sean together talking old Harleys...
You should check out “hunting Harley’s” it’s the guy with the dog on the bike. He knows more about old Harley’s than anyone I’ve ever seen. I love his no nonsense attitude too. Not gonna lie when he popped up in this video it was kinda like when scooby too would run into the globe trotters 😂
Im more of a pro non sense guy myself
......most knowledgeable about old harleys is no shit. Todd knows what's up. I've been subscribed to him for years. Was super cool see'in him in your vid. You should connect with that cat. He can probably find you anything.
Great job on the races tim. 👍...I love a good swap meet.
Great video guys. I’m loving the swap meet content and verses. There are so many nice people I’ve met at places just like that. Real people who wrench on their own bikes. So much knowledge and real world experience. 😇❤️
That is awesome!
I love the variety of the new content since the sales showroom was closed. Great job.
whats your favorite type of video?
@@BikesandBeards Can't answer because that's what I like most, is the variety! Oh, and I want that Trail 125, can't find one for under $5000!
Amen on the verse
Sean, I've been to hundreds of swap meets and what Matt says is right, when you find what you're looking for, buy it and stop looking, saves a heap of frustration.
wow you must be working on a lot of projects
@@BikesandBeards Been going to swap meets over 60 years, always find something, lol.
Sean, swap meets are so much fun. It’s like walking through a historical
It was all awesome but the races at the very end were my favorite part. 😀
1941 WLA rebuild engine with title for $5500 is quite reasonable. I'd pay that! I'd try to get some of the surrounding parts thrown in for that price though.
Tim is awesome. He looks like a legend on that racer.
Absolutely amazing video enjoy that so much thank you
Got all kinds of parts. Good swap meet. I miss the mid 90s as a kid there were all kinds of cool flea markets in Portland Oregon
I really enjoyed this! I’ve never been to a swap meet but I’m sure it’s even more awesome in person. Glad you were able to get some more parts for the WLA.
I remember my collection of pieces and parts.. most of it was trade or barter. I had the 74 shovel. I just never could get a decent bushing in the starter mount so it would crank easy. I did up the compression a little but no reason it should of not started and dang it, no provision for kick start. Never put me down all the way like some radical bikes I had as a kid. My first was a 37 Indian.. it was a hoot, I got it back in 58 and prices were still easy on the wallet.
Brother, for a motorcycle guy, it’s amazing how little you know about motorcycles, or motorcycle related stuff. If I had that WLA, I’d find out everything I could about that model. Oh well. I’ve had other bikes too, some Honda’s, my first bike was even a Suzuki, but once I got a Harley-Davidson, I never looked back. Almost 50 years of riding.
You guys are lucky Matt is with you. Nobody knows these machines better!
Absolutely love your videos and most of all the scriptures, A number 1
Man your channel and content are awesome. As a dad of faith myself, the quick scripture verses you throw in is one of the simplest, slickest ministries I’ve seen. Keep that stuff up, that’s seriously awesome.
Quick question- long story short I inherited a modified ~1958 panhead from my estranged father when he passed. I’m working on breaking it down and cleaning it all now, it’s pretty rough but fascinating, but I noticed in a number of videos a roll up toolkit you guys break out when on the road. Any chance you could briefly cover what all you have stashed in that thing? Wanting to put one together myself with all the spare tools I have laying around, just have yet to encounter everything that might need to be worked on. And vintage ones cost upwards of $900, which I have zero interest in.
Thank you all! God bless!
Excellent stuff again,👍🏴🍀🙏
Thank you! Cheers!
Back in the late 1970s early 80s there was a motorcycle swap meet every month in the winter in Indianapolis. I bought, sold, and traded a lot of parts there. Build a beautiful Shovelhead chopper. Arlon Ness Digger chrom-moly rigid frame, open belt primary, suicide clutch...
This was a great video. The WLA saga has been awesome
The Rubik's Carb shot was great.
Building yourself a motley crew of vintage gurus. This is epic
Love the videos! That swap meet looked amazing. I hope to make it out there some time. That drag race though was the icing on the cake! Keep up the great work.
Great video. More swap meets, very interesting. Hurry up with the build.
That flat head your building, got me watching
your videos fulltime now.
Thanks from NOR-CAL!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching
Hope your feeling better. Praying for you.
that 70's chopper gave me flashbacks to 8 of them lined up in front of my house and a BBQ going on out back I miss it
I'm from pa and never been to a swap meet either. I plan on making one this year. Enjoyed watching this swap meet content
All of it very cool . Especially the drag racing. We hope you're fully well now !!!
"I'm gonna let the air outta Sean's tires before he goes to the starting line" ~ Matt
I don't know why that one upset you.... I was quoting him.
Love these types of videos, just wish they were longer lol!
what do you like about them so much?
Pretty much everything. The searching for needed parts, bartering, learning alongside you guys as you navigate the process, its like a giantgarage sale but only motorcycles haha. Plus seeing Matt and Tim at a random meetup was a nice surprise and the races at the end was a sweet way to cap it off. I'm was sorry to hear you fell ill, hopefully you can do more in the future when healthy with both you and Craig and can stay for all the races. I hope you're feeling better and thank you for the reply!
Keep us posted on Tim, an Tom. They're COOL.
Yeah the swap meet, my buddy went to one out east last weekend. Love me a swap meet! Good times 🤘🏻
You and Craig need to get a Rally Fighter and go cross country. Just taking the back roads lol Craig could show us how they put it together. I know it's not a bike but you got to admit it's pretty awesome!!
rally fighter needs to supply the rally figher for that
@@BikesandBeards you got connections. Work your magic Sean and Craig. We have faith in you 🙏🏼
At 6.42 had me laughing!!
8:03 you have just witnessed me😂😂 that was me on that yellow Honda Hobbit moped
nice, I wish i would have known it was you
@@BikesandBeards oh don't worry I go every year. If you come next year I'll be there
As ever a great video autojumbles are great fun always good to see you and matt together and tim?? Wow he knows how to get the best out of his ride great footage
lolol craigs the best - "this [carb] is for me..."
Unexpected Hunting Harleys crossover lol!
haha im just now learning who that guy was, apparently he had no idea who i was either
Hope your feeling better.. cool swap meet video with you, Craig, Tim and Matt
Thanks! You too!
So cool, loved the old show too but pleasantly surprised, content quality still high, even better since you ditched your retail motorcycle store
I hope I’m still kicking ass like Tim at his age. What a cool bloke 😎
Tim comes over all quiet and mild mannered then hammers it in the drags. That was cool.
You need to check out AMA Vintage Days, July 22-24, 2022 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Not even a bike guy and I am in awe of all those old bikes.
Loved the racing footage for old iron they were moving pretty good
The dude with the dog on the back was the Hunting Harleys channel guy lol
The 45's going to be badass can't wait to see that blue
Sean and Craig, back when you just got your WLA I suggested you go to the Oley meet. I've set up there and been there many times, for decades. Good luck to both of you!
We’re you there this time ?
@@BikesandBeards Sean, I had a very bad year. I lost my only brother. Our house caught on fire, we lost two cats, and just about everything. Insurance was good, now my wife and myself are in another house. My bikes were in the garage, along with all my parts and all is fine. I'm in Ohio. Sorry for giving you a hard time, the few times I did. God Bless, and good luck. Also sorry for the late response.
Edit: this all happened in 2021.
Good stuff, good people, good bikes. What a cool video.
Damn I love those usa swapmeets, wish they had them as big in Europe

My uncle used to have a custom dog seat mounted to his tank w a leash spring clip on the road king. His small dog used to ride on his tank for miles and miles.
You guys should come to AMA Vintage days. Bikes galore and a huge swap meet! Make sure you bring a bike to ride or you'll feel left out. Love the vids guys keep up the good work and God bless. ✌️
You're a great soul and I enjoy your video's.
Go to Barber Vintage Fest in October, THAT'S a swap meet!

I really enjoyed this video man lots of awesome bikes and lots of cool stuff.
That was a cool episode
OK old person pushing wrong button. Sean swap meets are so much fun. History cake walk with prices. Can’t wait for live show tomorrow. Thanks
I watch all your videos in 1.5x speed. You should just upload them like this 😂
