I kinda like the longer running summons more. Both are great, but I do like the older ones a bit more as they were longer. Maybe just allowing them to skip the longer ones would've worked better, but they're both great.
As for the non-Materia summons (i.e., Chocobo, Cactaur, etc.), all but Moogle are better now IMO. The new design of Moogle is too freaky.
