I Love how you explain in great detail the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thank you. I'm currently 45 and considering a brow life but I want it to look as natural as possible.
Thank you, thank you❣️ I am a very ‘mature’ woman. I am getting a brow lift, in addition to lower face and neck work in two weeks. This video just reassured me that I am getting the proper procedures done, and my results are going to be fantastic. So excited‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽 1 month post op update: My results are nothing shy of stunning, my recovery was seamless and I want to thank you again‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽
I just had, 6 weeks ago, a facelift, lower blepharoplasty, and some (minor) fat injection. I do wish I had done something for my upper lids. I am overall content but remain with, what appears to me, as swelling near glands under the jawline. Was wondering if you had the same? Plus, my face tingles everywhere. I realize it is normal but 6 weeks out for a lot I wonder, as well, if you had the same. I do find his videos informative. My doctor said I would not be a good candidate for a brow lift as my forehead is, well, let's say high. I am intrigued by the cut to the center, as I always wear bangs. (High forehead, and all.) Having encountered a fall and scar to my forehead I noticed it lifted by eleven lines, ten years ago. No one sees the scar, so why not another minor one. He minimized the cut by some fat. Dr. Talei's video on fat transfer was informative as well. I guess when I lose weight, hopefully, the fat will act like my tummy fat, where they got it from. TMI, I am sure. I just need about 15 lbs. gone.
I’ll be 45, thank you for all your information. You just saved me from adding a lateral brow lift to my face & neck lift . Gonna try this first and Botox in leu of the eyebrow lift . Natural is key
This video was VERY informative and I also can hear your genuine opinion about thread lifts. I was interested in getting one and now, not so much. I would love to see you in person for a consultation. Thank you!
Hello. I'm 50 years old and I'm interested in having a surgical brow lift done in order to eliminate deep horizontal forehead lines. I don't like the botox solution because I want my brows raised as they were before aging. My question is: after having a brow lift, can one still raise their eye brows up and down on their own naturally? Are the muscles re-attached in order to be activated to raise the eyebrows through facial expression? Thank you.
Super thorough. Especially greatful for the info on threading. 46 year old female. Nine days ago I had an endoscopic brow lift. Was looking for info on how long it will be lumpy, tender and numb. Thanks again for taking time to create this informative video.
awesome, what a smart and very discerning doctor. Not easy to find. I am not a plastic surgeon but i do have a very good eye for beauty and some knowledge and it is my belief indeed that very many of the procedures that people are doing come back to screw them uop later, especially if they have not been thought out well enough. People want instant gratification and do not consider the consequences. Less is more when it comes to these face altering procedures. Take calculated risks and understand clearly what you are doing and the potential disadvantages down the road. I would would always choose to keep my natural face in tact and just scrape by minimal stuff, as long as my natural face is in tact. Some people do have bigger problems and in those cases it may be worth the while to take a little more risk to get a certain result. Love this wise, discerning doctor
Wow, I’ve just discovered you through the slew of plastic surgeons on here. I’m really impressed... you are the best by far! You are direct, honest & relatable. Your confidence inspires trust. You are really easy to listen to. Don’t be shy about sharing any more info, you might just have a new patient from Australia 🇦🇺 soon! Lol
My wife just had a consult with doctor who wants to do a sliding brow lift. He wants to avoid pushing the forehead back. She didn't understand this because her forehead was find before laxity. This doctor had no real pics to show but says he has over 30 years experience. Thank you for your sincere and professional clarifications
Thanks Doc!! This was so informative and educational! I honestly can listen to you talk all day. The fact that everything was well explained without all the fancy and technical words, I can appreciate. And I can honestly say I learned a thing or two. I know who to go to if I ever want cosmetic surgery 😊Thank you again for taking the time to share this with us! God bless!! 💕
In artistic anatomy, there's a slang term for the under the brow, outer corner of the eye that sags. It's called the "sausage". I emphasize that it's slang, used when studying portraiture. It is very descriptive.
Thankyou for informing us on the negatives to brow lifts for younger adults! Although I'm curious to get your opinion. I'm 28yrs old & was looking into getting an Endoscopic lift for a longer lasting effect. Considering I'm near 30 would you still expect a lift like that to deteriorate after a few years? If so I might stick with Botox.. thankyou!
Thank you so much much! You saved me from a full endoscopic brow lift I do not need. I’m just going with upper blephs and c02 laser treatment under eyes.
I had an endoscopic brow lift when I was 35 I'm now 65 so this is a long-lived procedure I had no signs of aging at 35 except a Browline that had fallen. Fast forward 30years and the surgery has held up very well with a very minimal signs of aging after all this time so you can imagine if a person really looks they can see a very tight smooth forehead I also use Botox and the lower face lift and especially neck that now needs attention. For those who have had a browlift know that you will be numb for a long time In my case it was almost a year a half. But the overall outcome best decision I ever made in my life.
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Jeffrey Aryan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wonderful explanation. I had my facelift, necklift and upper lip lift trifecta done when I was 62. Then I went back just recently and had a nose job and upper/lower blephs done. My next move is probably going to be the brow lift as explained by you! Thanks very much for the info.
@Creative Renewal my husband is 2 years younger than me - he's 61. We work together at our family business when a customer said to my son that he was talking to my husband's daughter the other day when my son said that ain't his daughter nor my sister - she's my mother! lol ...compliments to my Surgeon. He’s a deft hand. Shout out to Dr Brace in Guelph, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 i still haven’t said anything to my husband. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings. He’s still my Bae and still handsome as hell.
I am following I. Your foot steps and am uberly excited‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽 I am 63 and in 2 weeks will be getting an endoscopic brow lift, in conjunction with a lower face and deep plane neck lift. Ironically, I was thinking of having my nose done next. 🥰😍😘
I had upper eyelid surgery at same time I got my lower lids done. Lower was mainly the problem. Just over 40 and people were asking me if I’d been crying, haven’t been sleeping, allergies, etc. Had small bags. Bags were so bad in Asian family members by 50-70’s - people would ask if they had a disease... So I needed to get in front of that. That was aprox 15 years ago. I noticed the hollowness at 50. So for the last few years my cheeks look like shelves. Is that due to taking out too much?It was 2006 ?- maybe done differently then? Also, would you redo an upper eyelid or forehead lift?
Thank you Dr this info is invaluable. It should be required viewing for anyone wanting the bella hadid look. I'm 24 and all my friends are getting PDO threads but it always looks quite unnatural. I think I'll go the botox route, although I've seen many spock like eyebrows so will have to make sure that's avoided.
I had a Pretrichial Brow Lift last year. I was under anesthesia and the Dr. didn't want to go too high in case I could not close my eyes. I didn't see a big difference, so after 1 year a revision was done while I was awake. I directed him with the lift as to the point where I could close my eyes. The eyes looked great for a few days then they relaxed and it doesn't look much different as before the procedure. Is there a procedure that will keep the forehead from relaxing ?
First video that’s made any real clear points and informative thank you! Also so true volume in lips doesn’t equal beauty, I’m dissolving mine as they look so silly on my face, I’ve realised it’s just a bit of help with the side definition is what I need, as that completely balances my face, not big lips on my small thin face!
Real good information. I am wondering if any type of muscle building up brow above hair can be done instead of using Botox and paralyzing the muscle below? I started drooping on one side after getting Covid-19 six month ago and neurologist doesn't know exactly why. Maybe trigeminal nerve issues. I am worried my brow might block my sight at some time.
I really liked and appreciated everything you except for the fact that in many, the endoscopic browlift does increase the length of the forehead i.e. brings it higher.
What if you have nerve damage and you can’t lift your eye brow and you have vision problems from another procedure. Your surgeon recommends a brow lift to take pressure off the eye? Is a eyebrow lift a safe procedure?
Thanks for the honesty. I am 56 years young. I want to have deep plane facelift and neck lift. Also brow lift. My plastic surgeon would do all of that however he will not do cheek implants along with it. He does not like them. Would you recommend to your loved one to get a facelift with cheek implants? Not that they need them most likely😀 ps would you ever do a facelift under local anesthesia? Thanks
Brilliant - love your approach and I can think of few younger patients trying to convince me that need a brow lift and altering the vertical ratio and deepening of upper eyelid sulcus definitely age- and so I said no
Question 1- how long have you been board certified. Question two interested in a lateral temporal brow lift, is there a video that I can watch you performing a temperal lift.
Doc. can you show how fillers will work for people 55+? Before and aftershock? If, you need a patient I am available. I think so many of us look at these videos hopeful but I noticed the clients are relatively young. I am 60 and could use some type of contouring.
Very comprehensive. I am 67 and interested in a face and brow lift. Have been to 3 surgeons. Two suggested coronal brow lifts. The third an endoscopic lift. The first two said the endoscopic lift wouldn’t last that long. I am in Boston, not a small town. How do I figure this out?
Same here--one when i was in my thirties- notable Bev Hills surgeon- said he only does coronal because they actually last. Then ten years later, one Oculoplastic surgeon who only did endoscopic (discovered his results are a bit too subtle from someone else in the medical field)., an established Facial Plastic surgeon, who opted for endoscopic with a minor blepharoplasty and lateral brow fat injections. Finally, another surgeon who mentioned Coronal for me- because of effectiveness and longevity- although he does many different types of browlifts. Do you think it’s possible to do a brow lift naturally, without surgery? For example if I were to focus on smiling or being happy more, instead of having a resting b**** face, would it have lasting effects?
Doctor what is your opinion on this? I’ve been getting Botox regularly (every 4-5 months) since I was 27 around my my temples and forehead. Definitely in the beginning less units were required for the desired look. Last Oct (age 33) I decided to NEVER get Botox again. Why? Not because I require more units but because of the HOLLOWNESS on my temples AND because of the induced brow dropping on my eyes. Very ugly side effects of Botox. I notice how doctors Don’t talk about how Botox WILL at some point hollow the temples. That’s terrible! It was certainly not mentioned at anytime during my visits. To reverse this, I see doctors are trying to correct the temples with Sculptra?
Wow...never thought that'd be a side effect from botox. But also how sure are you that it's a product of botox and not aging? Because although i have never treated my upper eyelids when I was at the beginning of 25 years old I lost fat in my upper eyelid randomly and it caused hollowness so im also sure it could happen in other areas of the face.
Hi doctor and thank you very much for your video. What do you think about laser forehead resurfacing for eye brow lift? Does it work and could it be durable? I'm 33yo. Thank you 😊
I was told by a surgeon that if your hair line is more than 5 cm from your brow, like in my case, you will get zero lift effect. He recommended me doing the stitches along the brow line. So after watching this video I'm confused.
Thank you for explaining all of this it was very informative. I have one brow that is a little more droopy eyebrow and I was considering getting the PDO brow lift. Now I think I will just continue with my Botox treatments until i am ready to have an actual brow lift.
This is amazing information!! I love your channel! Thank you for educating us.

If brow lift in young patients is so bad then why do so many young celebrities in early 20s get it done? Don’t they get scarring ?
