      I was very lucky indeed! The surgeon was excellent. 🙏🏼 I thought after a few weeks I looked recovered but now that I look back on the photos from that time I still see quite a bit of swelling. I can say I am 90% recovered now! Only have minimal scalp itching and brow lift scars are still visible so it’ll take a few more months I think. ☺️

      @@imbrigita It's been 24 hours, I've had an endoscopic brow lift and an upper eyelid surgery. I look pretty crazy: my eyes are bruised and my forehead is swollen. There is some pain too: they put staples in the incisions in my head and those feel really tight. Also I'm pretty weepy: just like you said, the waiting game is long and it seems like you did something you cannot reverse now. But looking at your beautiful result and thinking about why I wanted to do it for so long certainly puts me in a better mood! :)
      Guess you just have to get on with it for the 1st few days :)

      @@cloudy-sky134 that’s awesome! Try to do light lymphatic drainage massage on your face, the swelling will go down quicker. Even a week or so after your surgery I’d recommend to go for a full body lymphatic drainage massage, it’s really good for your body post surgery and in general! ♥️ My friend had the endoscopic brow lift so she mentioned to me those staples! But at least your scars won’t be visible that way. Have a lovely recovery, eat well and rest as much as you can! ♥️

      @@clairewntr hi Clarissa. Did you have the same brow lift as I? The incisions are in the area between my forehead and the hairline. Some brow lifts are at the top of the head almost and some people get bold patches from this type of brow lift as hair cannot really grow through the scar from what I know. Have you discussed this with your surgeon?

    • @cloudy-sky134
      @cloudy-sky134 3 года назад +1

      @@clairewntr Hey, I have small areas around the scars where the hair doesn’t grow, it’s been 2,5 months now. I read somewhere that it goes back to normal 4-6 months after the surgery. Hopefully it does, my surgeon didn’t warn me, and we did discuss hair. I think your patches will become smaller at least. At 1 month I still had some unpleasant side effects.

I am still not 100% sure whether the eyebrow lift was “necessary” at my age but it’s done now and I am still super happy with the result and I guess later down the line I’ll be happy I did it all at once. I mean I am happy now too but I think you know what I mean. 😄 I actually have a weird skin tag/bump of 1mm on one of my scars and I am getting a little concerned as it is not going away. It’s only bothering me when I touch the incision though. Have you had that or heard of a similar experience? P.S are you considering a brow lift or had any other procedures done? Asking out of curiosity, don’t feel obliged to answer if you’re not comfortable. 🙏🏼

      Hi, I’m glad you’re doing better and it does take a while to completely see the end results. I can tell you I went through ups and downs regarding the surgery and yes I had a little bump on my eyelid (scar) and was told by the doctor to massage it and it eventually went away, it did take time and now scars are barely noticeable , so be patient. I think I would like at some point to get an eyebrow and/or a facelift, I’m 49 but I have pretty good skin so I think I can wait a few more years. I have always thought that having procedures done right when aging concern occurs is better then waiting too long and then having a pretty dramatic change. When I had my procedure done I was just starting to have some loose skin so hardly anybody noticed the difference which was exactly what I wanted.
      I was told that the bumps are scar tissue so massaging them would help. You should ask your doctor though. 🥰 you have a happy thanksgiving 🦃

      My family wouldn't agree either, so I decided I'm following through with it anyway. I had to lie in the consultation when they asked me if my parents were okay with plastic surgery, I'm 30 years old, I could see if I was a minor asking that question. That was odd for me. My parents are against plastic surgery because they believe God created everyone perfect in his image. Really beautiful results, congrats, very happy for you! I recently feel like I need this type of procedure, I notice my eyeliner just sits wonky and my upper lid is really folding a bit too much. I have a line of skin even with eyes closed which I feel is definitely NOT how my eyes looked when I was younger (I'm 41 now). My lids actually look veeeery similar to yours in the beginning so it was super useful to see your vlog.
    Did they also shorten the muscle that pulls down the lid? I hear not doing this is a common reason why many people need another blepharoplasty not long after the first one. Because skin is removed but the elongated muscle keeps pulling down the lid and eventually you need another surgery. Anyway, really beautiful and natural results on you!❤

      Hey! Thanks so much for your comment. I know how frustrating the eyeliner feels with hooded eyes. I actually wanted to note, that I still get a bit of mascara smudging on top of my eyes every now and again as the eyelashes still somewhat touch the skin next to my eyebrows a bit but overall the makeup stays so much better after the surgery. Also, that’s a very good question regarding the muscle shortening but I am not able to answer that as I’d need to email the doctor and ask if that was done. Sorry! Please let me know if you have any other questions. x

    I posted before but not sure my comment appeared. I truly dissuade anyone reading the comments or inspired by this video to go abroad to Fi Clinica and get an eyelid/brow lift with them. I will not go into details about my experience but I suffered a horrendous infection on my left side (same surgeon as Brigita) and Fi Clinica was terrible at dealing with the aftermath and actually diagnosing the infection. I would only recommend getting treatment in YOUR own country (because trust me, not fun going to A&E abroad if you're alone), and also, with an actual oculo-plastic surgeon. Only they know the complexities of the eyelid area.

    You look great! I’m so happy for you! Do you know where the surgeon decided to put the incisions at the hairline instead of behind the hair?

      Hi Megan, thanks so much! There are just various brow lift methods and some surgeons practice just that one specific method. I had a lateral brow lift (as you saw the incisions are right at the front) and the endoscopic brow lift would have hidden scars in the hair/scalp but I have heard this method is not as long lasting as the one I got. Don't quote me on that please.

    Finally! Your eyes seems to me more open I guess, but it’s really slightly seen the difference before and after and it’s good. Because you are only The One who see and feel that difference 💙 good to see you happy 😊 is it possible to make this operation along with rhinoplasty? Or it’s too “heavy” for organism?

      @imbrigita  3 года назад +1

      Hi Kate! I see where you’re coming from and I agree, it’s not a HUGELY noticeable difference for others but it’s definitely a positive change for me. It is definitely possible to get a rhinoplasty combined with this! My friend did it 😊🙏🏼

    I had that white stuff on my throat after I had my tonsils removed. I think it’s something they spray on your throat to protect it? but they advised me that I had to eat solid food to remove it & to aid healing. The pain was unbelievable for about a week after. 🤕😱

      Hi Jennifer, I think in your case it’s different, as mine was from the tube inserted during anesthesia! The pain was hell for sure but we survived it. 😘
