- Here is a brief tutorial about jawline fillers and Botox. What to watch out for and tips to getting more delicate results that would age better with less complications. Bottom line - don’t try to do too much with fillers. Your face will become a water balloon whether you see it or not. And sadly we can’t just pop it to get rid of too much water and fillers.

A native of California, Dr. Benjamin Talei graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Physiological Sciences. He received his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Great information. I have teeth clenching and TMJ and was told to use Botox. In the past they have put the botox higher and I had trouble with my mouth functioning. I also have clenching muscles right below my lower lip. This may help doing Botox in the Jaw and the chin. Thanks so much!

Great video! As a man considering the jawline fillers can the HA fillers be dissolved if you start getting the side effects you mentioned? I don't think I've seen you talk about Botox to the neck, can that allow relaxation of certain muscles to enhance the jawline?
Love your work and your generosity sharing hard to find information and the pros and cons as well. You define beauty simply, explain what works and what does not and describe the medical component in a very understandable way.
Hmmm i would look at the side effects of having them dissolved. That can give you more side effects than the filler itself.

How much is considered too much when putting filler along the jawline? Is 1ml per side okay. Will it also look strange if you ask the aesthetician to not inject the back jaw

Ill have to disagree, i have bellafill in my jaw and chin and 2 years later im loving it still. Dont look puffy and dont pull water like with regular fillers
Bellafill isn’t an HA filler so it doesn’t absorb water like HA fillers. Same story with radiesse. Both should avoid the water retention he’s mentioning .
So basically restalyn define and voluma in the whole area of the jaw??

I had 22 each side of masseters last month for the first time and now at almost 41 my jawline shrunk and I have jowls and a double chin and hollowed cheeks. Will this get worse before better and will my previous jawline come back and how long does it take? Thank you for any info

That’s what I’ve been looking into 👍 I had 2 plastic surgeons tell me that a face lift is the only way to go for my chin and neck. Ugh, BS, I’m gonna go to another dr and address just doing Botox and filler 😀🙌

“A lot of patients ‘need’ botox around the mouth” no they don’t NEED botox, they want it. Botox is never needed if it’s for aesthetic reasons only.
