Thanks!
as always super useful video! and what is more Pleasant - crazy fast to appear on RUclips! thank You! Big fan of yours!
Thanks so much!
thank you so much I had no idea I even had this :)
👍
Just updated! (Have the Epix Gen 2 Sapphire so I didn't get the skin temperature, but did get improved body battery, nap detection etc.)
Great stuff! Now we just have to wait for the watch widget which was already leaked with the Venu 3 screens.
Is there any info how much deviation is normal? The Garmin description is quite sparse
Hi des, is the epix pro going to get the sleep coach?
Doesn't also nap tracking comming this Update? Someone knows if it will be availeble for Forerunner 745???
Thanks for the video!
Has anyone seen reduced battery life since installing the update? I installed it a couple of days ago and mine has been impacted hard. I have the epix 2 (non Pro).
Nice to see this on my Venu 3 😊
👍 Enjoy!
Sorry, I am slightly confused here... I know you are more focused on running watches but maybe you can help me here. If only watches with the new sensor get the skin temperature function then how does Garmin Descent MK3 have it too? It was released recently but it's based on Fenix 7 and the sensor is elevate v4.
Hello! What watch band do you use on your wrist in this video? Thanks
Here ya go! ruclips.net/video/yiW6UOUL48U/видео.htmlsi=56nL9sHDdftnTI4q
What band do you use for your garmin. I need something like that. The silicone one is terrible for my skin

I have a Garmin 7 Pro with the latest Garmin Connect update. But the avr skin temp is not shown in the app. What should I do?
Have you worn the watch to sleep for 3 nights since updating your watch software?
I also don‘t see it on my Tactix 7 AMOLED, and it‘s been more than 3 nights of sleep since the update.
Des if you were buying a fenix watch for yourself which model would you get?
I'm more in the Epix camp now so it would be something like a 47mm Epix Pro
@DesFit ok I'm interested in a upgrade from my Instinct 2. Just trying to figure out which rout to go. Thanks for the reply 👍
What size Epix are you wearing?
51mm
Anyone else watch both DesFit and DC Rainmaker for the total picture? Synergy!
That's the way to do it! 🙌
Is that the new nylon band on your wrist?
ruclips.net/video/yiW6UOUL48U/видео.htmlsi=cCZK_Ko-GiWJOUu6
@@DesFitthanks man. Do you feel the watch is more accurate with the nylon band or just more comfy?
Marginal considerations when it comes to accuracy but it does provide a more customized fit which could lead to better accuracy
I have a FR265 so no skin temps for me. I'd rather you talk about the other new features. I have no idea how to use the nap tracking or where to activate red mode for example.
nap tracking = Just nap. Its auto.
Only support garmin fifth gen sensor guys😢
0.1 degree difference in skin temp
Not nice from Garmin to include such a basic functionality only for their premium models. I have the Fenix 7 and will not receive this feature...
It has to do with the latest generation heart rate sensor which has the hardware to support this feature. Unfortunately the original Fenix 7 uses a different sensor.
@@DesFit thank you for the explanation. The Fenix 7 was very expensive. It’s just a bummer to see how quickly the hardware is outdated.
This happens with all technology where there are constant advancements.
It's a bit rubbish that this doesn't come down to the Epix gen2. It has a temp sensor built in, it just isn't used. Seems it's an arbitrary choice by garmin to push people to upgrade
The Epix gen 2 has an ambient temperature sensor built in, not a skin temperature sensor within the heart rate sensor (which is different on the Epix Pro and Epix gen 2)
What about Marq Gen2 ? Why not include it ?
The Marq gen 2 uses the 4th generation HR sensor, not the 5th gen which has the hardware necessary to collect skin temperature
@@DesFitHello, epix PRO have both temperature sensors ? Skin and ambient? Thank you
does forerunner 255 support this?
No skin temp😢
