I love when you introduce me to a new recipe I went out and brought 6 rhodos so I could make the of chicken pot pie in the casserole with this spinach in college greens and both of them I made together with some rice and OMG Gina my family went absolutely crazy my grandson said What did you do to the lasagna I said baby that's not lasagna that's Gina young spinach casserole but my family absolutely loved it you are truly a godsend an amazing person God-bless you Gina

I have never had a spinach casserole but that looks amazing. It puts me in mind of a Greek spanakopita. You are right, it would be a show stopper on a holiday or special occasion.
@@InTheKitchenWithGinaYoung If you will permit me to correct you. In our spanakopita (Greek for spinach pie) we never use mascarpone. We use feta cheese. I have seen some newer versions where cream cheese is also added but that is not traditional and never used in Greek homes or in Greece. Phyllo pastry is often used but also equally popular is dough that is usually made from scratch. As well, there is always phyllo at the bottom before the filling is poured.

yes your right to make that your would use mascapone cheese instead of the cream cheese and for the top you would use filo dough its delish as well

MY mother made something similar to this, but with Phyllo dough and she layered it.... was always one of my favorites.
