Your absolutely right. I get sick of hearing folks say this trigger is "almost" as good as a Walther, or HK, or CZ etc. I've tried them all and this one beats it by a pretty clear margin. I personally don't see how this trigger could be improved. It's just that good. Enjoyed the video!
We agree 100%. The PDP is close second and it’s by no means better. Plus has more take up and if you want a comparable trigger from Walther you have to spend another 200 dollars.
Actually, the Canik TP9 Combat Elite has a special unique trigger the other TP9 pistol models do not have. Hence, the Combat Elite trigger comparison is valid with a Walther or a CZ as equal. Those 3 have amazing triggers. The other Canik TP9's have great smooth trigger pulls, but the top of the line Combat and Executive Elite have the best.
I'd agree that out of the box, it's a better shooting handgun than stock Glocks. I do own a couple Glocks that I believe are better shooters, but I also spent over a grand+ in upgrades on top of the price I paid for them stock

I have the Elite Combat Executive that I had custom done in black and copper. While it's not the best handgun I've ever owned, it's definitely the best bang for your buck from the factory that I've owned.
This is my second pistol after my first being a hipoint c9 which I love for the price and ease of use. It was funny telling the guy I bought it from that it was a huge upgrade and he chuckled and agreed. I love being able to hear the reset everytime you shoot and i already absolutely love it. Canik is my new favorite!
That audible reset, I can expect a pistol to be of an advantage to most when a trigger reset can be felt and heard to speed up follow up shots. Good share, been waiting for something different to be shown. Thank you 🇺🇲

I own the tp9 elite combat executive it's the all black with a gold Barrel have had it a little over a year now performs amazing little to no maintenance easy to clean easy to go so far no mag feeding problems either all around really nice gun trigger pull is still the same as the day I bought it and the wear on the metal when you pull it out of the holster is very minimal still you know it's there but it's not quite scuffed there the right oil brings the color back out
I find your handgun assessments and reviews to be one of the very best in RUclips channels. I bought me a Canik METE SFT for $480 plus taxes, and I personally have nothing to envy to the Elite Combat. It is a matter of personal preference.

I wish they sold that trigger separate so I could drop it in the Elite SC. outside of America, they offer it in all sorts of different models. ALSO, hopefully teh Elite Combat gets the slide updates they introduced on the METE line. being able to retain the rear sight with a red dot is a must!

I own 4 Caniks, Rival S, Mete, MC9, and TP9 Elite Combat. I run them alot, thousands of rounds through each pistol and have had minimal issues. Imo Canik makes a terrific firearm at any price.
Salient Arms custom glocks go for around $2,000 . The elite combat and executive give you all the upgrades they guve a gucci glock but for around $700 i got mine for $650. Salient arms barrels alone are $370 !
I love my Caniks. I have Elite Combat, The Elite Combat Executive and the new Mete SFT. These pistols can't be beat for what you get and the price point.
The canik red dot seems like the way to go, they say you can literally rack the slide back using the sight in a one handed motion, if it can stand that kind of abuse , then the price of the thing is pretty good when you start comparing it to other good sights. Edit; I forgot the best part is how easy it’s suppose to be to set the sight up with your irons for co witness, this is an absolute must for me, I could never rely on an electronic anything, they are nice, but electronics can fail easily at times.
Got my tp9sf at my local gunstore for 350 brand new you just cant beat canik for the price i have 3 other glocks and i would much rather be in a shtf scenario with the canik than any glock i have

Recently handle the Mete Sft. Surprised to see that Canik somehow improved on an already great trigger, less travel and lighter pull. If there is a better gun for the money I haven’t seen it.
Little late to the party, but finally picked up a Canik TP9 Elite SC & love it. Grabbed an olight & Swampfox Sentinel for it, but having a hard time finding a OWB holster. Could I ask what you're using now (or in the video) that worked with a red dot & light? That and finding an extra 15 round mag is impossible! Regardless thanks so much for your time & video !
I think the delta pro with the rear site add on can give you the rear sight back on that combat elite. That gun with a co-witness for back up would damn near be perfect.
Red dot, like Holosun, have advanced so much with durability, battery life and solar power that irons, even for backup, are becoming obsolete and a thing of the past.
I have the same tp9 EC rig as in this video. Only thing I need to improve is the magwell. Have large hands, and my pinky rests uncomfortably on that ledge, any recommendation for a magwell with a flatter front face than the SAI?

After tax this is a 1100.00 gun. Add a good light and optic , add another 350.00. Price is when I got this gun when it came out in 2021. Love it and no regrets.

I have the combat and just got the new METE SFT. I love them! The SFT fixed that issue with loosing the rear sight, other than the trigger on the combat being slightly better and I mean marginally the Mete so far is quickly becoming 1 of my fav.
Have you had any issues with the guide rod hitting the suppressors? This is the only issue I have seen so far. Just got it today and I am pretty perturbed about this. Not quite sure how they did not know this before shipping them out for sale

I just bought the same red dot fir my elite combat but it doesn’t fit on the plate that comes with the gun. Which plate did you guys use to mount it? They make 1-4 and I know plate #1 doesn’t fit.
That’s a toss up, they both have pros and cons. The PDP feels better in the hand with a lower bore axis and better optics platform. Yet the Canik has a nicer trigger and a slew of nice features. Overall mechanics they are nearly identical. You really could not go wrong with either.
Has anyone found a duty/tactical holster that will fit this exact setup? I can't find anything that will fit when it has both the TLR-1 light and an optic....

We use a Blackhawk Omnivore, but it’s fit specific to the Streamlight that’s on it. It’s an awesome pistol!

You could but it will have to be one that fits this gun. You wouldn’t need to iron sights with a suppressor if you have the optic though.

Would this make a good carry gun??

In order to use the Holosun I had to purchase an additional plate
Holosun requires the #2 plate.
Could you please tell me what Canik mount did you use for the sight 1,2,3 or 4 ?
I think his holosun has an rmr footprint which is #2 for Canik

whats a good duty holster for this gun with a streamlight tlr1 ? i cant find them anywhere
That’s tough because there really is no good level 3 made for these. I am using a Blackhawk omnivore in the video.

How would you compare this gun to The new Walther PDP?
That’s a toss up, they both have pros and cons. The PDP feels better in the hand with a lower bore axis and better optics platform. Yet the Canik has a nicer trigger and a slew of nice features. Overall mechanics they are nearly identical. You really could not go wrong with either.
What optic plate did you use for the 507k? Did it require modification?
This is a 507C with the rmr plate.

What is the holster you are using to hold the Canik? I want to get a light for my gun but I don't know which one would fit it best.
We use the Blackhawk Omnivore which attaches to the light.
