I first came across your channel when someone posted it in the rhcp subreddit and since then I think I've watched every one of your videos. Awesome playing and thanks for the entertainment.
I also just got a white fender strat and want to learn every single Frusciante song going and post videos to my friends about how great I am at it hahahaha
Part of a small production group, and this guy is EXACTLY what we're looking for to play one of the characters. There is a scene required where he would be performing someone else's song, but obviously that wouldn't be an issue! Also, there would be 2 shirtless scenes and the candidate can't have any tatoos. Not sure if you qualify. Let me know and I can talk to the other group members. On another note, from 2:49 to 3:00 of this upload, I can really see the professionalism coming through. Keep up the good work
Studying your playing - especially the hendrixian grip. I notice you switch in an out of using it a little in this. Can you explain if it's something you've just always felt comfortable with or i you tried to learn it?
Hey so when I first started playing I tried as hard as I could to get the Hendrix style chord structure that frusciante emulates. Over time I’ve gotten comfortable with it and just switch in and out of it almost subconsciously, whatever feels comfortable
so unfortunately my laptop where I recorded this video is broken and I can't retrieve the file, but I can definitely send you the settings that I've been using on my recent videos!
Yeah man. You need to do what you need to do to write music. Get a splice account, download a DAW (doesn't have to be expensive). Write a song a day man. Just sketches. Intro, verse, chorus, solo. Very rough around the edges. At the end of a month you'll have 30 songs. Maybe you'll use some, maybe you want. You'll get in the habit of crafting music, and you're already ahead of 99% of WORKING musicians. Create an account on one of these bandcamp sites or whatever--use your name or another moniker(in case it doesn't go the way you want it). It should be stress free, but you gotta do it. If you don't, you'll be pissed you didn't do it when your older.
Perfect tone
Thank you!
You played my very favourite song of the rhcp so great!!! Beautiful man

You are an amazing guitar player! Keep at it, I can't wait to hear more songs.
Would you mind telling me what program/s you use to get the tone?
Thanks man!!! I have a Focusrite Clarett Pre II audio interface straight into GarageBand, mess with the amps/pedals in GarageBand plus my own pedals.
Wish I could use my Marshall 40 watt combo amp but neighbors aren’t about it...
Please show us your gb and amp and peddle settings
