This is one of John’s favourite Peppers tunes. He prefers their B-sides to album stuff. I agree with him.

@@The_Funky_Horn i read somewhere that Bunker Hill was actually the first song they wrote with John back in the band. they only released it as a b-side during the By the Way era though. There's a video on here where they are playing it live (one of the very first shows with John back) and Anthony still has the long hair. its one of my favorite Peppers songs and I can't believe it didn't make the album.

Yeah there is 12th fret and some 14th fret thrown in,on the high E
Also, aren't quite sure where exactly in the tune,but John does stuff on 2nd fret of the high E during the open E major chord.
