ATP Cycle

- This biology video tutorial discusses the ATP cycle which explains the interconversion of ATP and ADP. The conversion of ATP into ADP is an exergonic process that releases energy and an inorganic phosphate group. The conversion of ADP into ATP is an endergonic reaction that requires the input of energy and releases H2O as a product.

I am genuinely curious as to why, or even how you post numerous tutorials on different subjects daily. You've been a life saver for me for the past few years in calc, chem and physics and I really appreciate it!
I was thinking the exact same thing. This guys level of memory is just wow.
@@Mohann- Late rep,y but I theorise this channel has a team.
I've watched his videos on calculus, chemistry, physics and I even used his videos to review for my entrance exams. And now I'm back for biology. A true life saver.
you've been my math teacher now you are my biology one thanks a lot men I appreciate all your efforts
your videos are so clear and and especially you use a dark background and that help a lot saving eyes the energy.
thanks a gain.
Thank you😭. Now i know what ATP cycle is.
Thank you so much! Your videos have been a massive help for part of my Anatomy class, especially since I never took chemistry in high school
im not just thankful for this channel like really! u're so awesome being my teacher in math, bio, physics, and chem. fyi im starting to have a huge crush on you wtfff
Thank you for the visual! I had to find something to help me understand better what I'm reading about this topic in my Nutrition class
Where were you 4 years ago when i was in the 11th grade ;p
At least i now know where to look if i decided to study medicine in the future lol, Thanks for your effort bro
I love ow simply you explained this. Thank you so much.
Thank you for saving my life 😭
my professor only reads off slides and it's confusing af, thank you for actually explaining the process
You are really the best. This was so straightforward and easy to understand.
Gosh, I'm really very greatful for your tutorials, it helped me lot !
Needed this for my midterm in ap bio, tyyy
Thank you for this video!! Super helpful! Studying for an exam and REALLY needed this! THANK YOU!!!
This saved me the day before the test
This was great! Easy to understand.
Thank you so much. It is really helpful to understand basic fandamental of Process.
I need this right now. Thank you!
thank you very much understood very easily you are best i saw lot of videos but did not understand but in your videos in just MIN
You didn't post this while I was doing it last semester but anyways it's cool
ok
Excellent explanation.
The mathematician teacher also teaching biology😮
Great timing, I have a test tomorrow lol.
Same XD
Thank you ❤❤🥹🥹
I really like your videos, especially your math and physics videos, they really help. I think your videos would be much better if you got a better mic, since sometimes the audio can get a little bit unclear or hard to listen to
Thanks great explanation step by step
my teacher made this complicated for no reason
how the heck do you know so many things?? 😭 thank youu!!
thanks for the video really helped alot
Reading comments saying where were you 4 years ago when I needed you meen while I still need you
After watching your video ,we know that knowledge is can not learn all
Thank you soooo..... much..!!!
THANKS SO MUCH MAN GOD BLESS YOU
I've been curious about ATP since 1993 or so. What they're not telling is that ATP is synthesised in vast quantities and is bio-chemically closely related to DNA, RNA and associated protein production. A building site worker, doing a full-days' graft can catalyse easily as much as 50% of their body weight, in ATP during that work. Water & oxygen and food proteins go together to to produce this outcome. I posit firmly, that Vigorous physical exercise, of this kind reinforces the body's DNA (a real expression of epigenetics); and which applies equally, if not more so, to brain health, as the cytoskeleton of the brain & its Microtubule Associated Proteins rely heavily if not entirely on the chemical catalysis of ATP. I'm a physicist not a biologist but I know I'm right. Well I know about the 50% body-weight synthesis because I copied a New Scientist piece on the ATP cycle, that was published in around 1993/4. RNA has AMP (Mono) and the body's primary cell food/fuel is based in a Tri-phosphate nucleotide; - being ATP. Right?
Thank you so much🥺
you make it so ez thank you so much
Off topic, but this guy kinda sounds like Patton Oswald
Except how does this work with inorganic phosphate. I thought it was composed of Pi? If that's the case, how do you create a phosphate anhydride linkage between phosphate ions that do not have hydroxyl groups?
please explain why H2O (water) is required to transform ATP to ADP! There is no explanation for the role of water in generating the transformation from ATP to ADP.
Sadly my body has lost the ability to convert from ADP...
Waiting to see Rheumatologist but in the meantime would you suggest anything that might help with my energy levels?
great video
thank you so much
tnx bro this video halped me
Hey do you have any video on Statics?
Check out his playlist. He had plenty of statistics videos.
Can you do a video on Oxidation Number Method
Where were you 4 years ago when I needed you..... uhuhuhu T_T
thank you
What about releasingC²O
thank you sooooo sooooo much
Thank u!!!!!
How can we benefit from the energy we get by ATP Hydrolysis? By phosphorylation or by using the released energy (i think it is called gibbs energy) or both ways?
We can benefit from the energy released to fuel phosphorylation
damn. i rlly love ur voice
Would anybody like to help me with a chem reaction
I want to mix chlorine with water and then pour a trihalomethane like (chloroform) and then I want to add granular activated carbon to see if chlorine and chloroform would filter from the water
See the bonding of the chemical formulas. Like ionic, covalent, hydrogen bonding. Also refer to ionization state and electronegativity.
Chloroform is formed when you mix chlorine with water. Even with small amounts of chlorine would contaminate the water. So...
In order to remove the contaminants, you need to do reverse osmosis. When the solution is push through the membrane of the reverse osmosis filter system, you can probably remove at most 99%. We can't really filter it out completely at 100%.
hell yeah
s
First like.
Biology oof
This explanation is wrong. it cannot explain why energy is released or absorbed during the ATP cycle.
WTF did I just watch? Chemistry for dummies?
And all these incredibly complex bodily processes, just accidentally happened, just magically keep going, because two bacteria fkd in the primordial ooze, and created a mutated fish which evolved into a reptile, which evolved into a rodent, which evolved into a monkey and that's your great grandfather 1,000,000th removed... An 🦧
Thank you
