Thnx, not only learnd something about making lamps, but also in Lightburn. Keep on making them.
Looks like my lamp-making skills are shedding some light on your Lightburn skills! Keep shining bright! LOL!
Hi Kim and Garrett - Fabulous lantern. They are adorable and I like the possibility of interchangeability (is that a word?). Great job. Keep the goodies coming and continued success. Love PegEgg
Who needs a dictionary when we can make up our own words like "interchangeability," right? Thanks for the love, PegEgg!
Thanks for giving out the kerf template! I have been looking for something like that. So nice of you to provide it for free! I see a lot of other channels trying sell similar stuff. Its like they make the entire video to convince you buy some file from them that you need to complete the project.
This is so cool. I bought the DIY kit and can't wait to paint it when my paints arrive. Next, the cut files.
That's awesome! Enjoy painting your DIY kit! Cut files aren't as hard as they seem.
These are soooo cute! Loved the built in Lightburn lesson too. You guys are awesome!! 🐝
Pro Tip. Make the existing sides just outline frames. Then, You can make your themed decor sides as magnetic panels that attach easy.
Could you please elaborate a bit about doing the sides with magnets? Your channel is excellent!
@bigdaddy111058 WHY thank you. Im thinking instead of the large X, cut a full square out. About the same size as that X. (Thus way when you put a design over it, you're not seeing the x underneath. ) NOW, make a 2nd pannel that is solid, and has your design cutout. Then, you could use magnets or velcro to attach it. Repeat for the other 3 sides. You could also use colored acrylic, or vellum on each side.
Appreciate the suggestion, it sounds like a cool way to switch up the panels easily. I found some 1/4" cylinder magnets that would be perfect. A little 1/4" hole in the corners (for the magnet) of the base piece and then same in the spots... GREAT IDEA!
YES COLORED ACRYLIC!!!!
They turned out really great!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked them.
Oooo those are amazing 😍 awesome job! Stay blessed guys 🥰
Aw, shuks, you're making me blush! You stay blessed too!
i love you so much, you are talented and cool, can you please tell me about the wood paint behind
Nice Work and Design ! greetings from México
Hola! Glad you like it!
I love this!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Love this
Thank you so much for the love!
love these. Would they be ok being mdf and outside with moisture? I love using MDF too and just had that thought.
You you have the kit for sale?
Do you paint with rollers to lessen the chance of getting paint on the edges? I'm a terrible painter.
Using a roller can definitely help with reducing paint on the edges. AND practice makes perfect! The rollers also help cut down on paint waste.
Which is better the acon laser or p2
Are you including the solar piece when you sell it?
We won't include it with the unfinished kit, but we will included with the finished versions and for the workshops.
how about xtool software?
It's pretty much the same thing, but the minus front and unite are in different places.
Come on guys! How did you laser the sides of the hat?
LOL! We just crushed the side and held it down with a magnet. We also just did one with the F1 and it was way easier to do the side, but harder to line it up.
