Bought the MBRP street version and love the sound. One disclaimer that should be added for installation is for convertibles. After Watching numerous videos, it appeared it was straight forward. When I climbed under the car, the convertible has a Y shaped rigidity support frame that goes from the rear to mid frame. Studied the problem and finally bit the bullet and removed it. It’s held on with 15, 15 mm bolts and if you have an impact wrench, it comes off fairly easy. Once rigidity frame is removed, it is just like the regular de-installation / installation. The Y rigidity frame added about an hour to the process One last thing, the pipes rest on the frame and it adds to the low volume drone. I will look for high resistance padding to but between the pipes and frames.
Speed density at it's most basic uses a manifold absolute pressure sensor to determine the amount of fuel the engine needs. It has more potential and ease of use in boosted applications.
Where does the stock fall on the loudness meter? How does the volume of the MBRP Race compare to the Magnaflow Competition? Trying to find a match for my convertible, and the video sound clips don't give a clear sense of the volume.
How much of a difference will having a catless down pipe make with these systems ? I don’t want to get a street series cat-back that’s going to be super loud with a catless down pipe. So should I go with the Magnaflow?
I love videos like this, just some info, the noise of exhaust, and how loud the exhaust is. No droning on about which is best or how you got it kind of bs.
@@blunttank ok cool then I have a question. Ive only driven in sport plus mode and haven't really fucked with track mode since it's been raining here every day lately. Is track just sport+ but without traction control? I've only had the car for two months but from what I understood that was the only difference
I've had the mbrp race exhaust for almost 2 years and it is the best sounding to me. Do yourself a favor and get an aftermarket downpipe to really open up the sound. Honestly price wasn't all that much a factor for me in deciding but it was the icing on the cake.
What is the best as far as (loudest) exhaust. I’ve been searching and I’m stuck between Borla ATAK, Solo Performance, Rousch, and Flowmaster Outlaw. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@dragonwarriorx4467 I got it installed one time and it was extremely quiet. Wasn't much louder than stock. So I went back with Solo Performance and added a H pipe. I currently have Solo Performance catback, Roush H pipe, Solo performance high flow cats, shorty headers, and a Roush cold air intake

I own an ecoboost. Tbh the sound is complete crap. I hate how traditional 4 cylinder it is. Subaru did good with the boxer motor and obviously ford wouldn't do boxer but I feel the mustang could do a bit better
Subaru’s Boxer engine is old technology in a world where everything is being modernized. Their HP on new cars are low, yes I’ll give you they are reliable (mostly) because they are traditional engines, but honestly Subaru’s exhaust doesn’t sound good. Equally the ecoboost mustangs exhaust. I own one and I refuse to change the stock mufflers or any exhaust system except e-cutouts after the catalytic converter, this will give you the sound of a straight piped ecoboost and even pops; without spending as much money as any of these exhaust systems. The best part about it is that it’s quiet when you want to to be and loud when you press that button.
the muffler companies make what sells, and alot of non car enthusiasts and some enthusiasts alike want their ecoboost to sound like the v8.So 90% of all the cat backs for the ecoboost are not fine tuned with a balanced tone, which is what you should be going for if you aren't straight piping.

Speed density at it's most basic uses a manifold absolute pressure sensor to determine the amount of fuel the engine needs. It has more potential and ease of use in boosted applications.
