Seriously, I don't know why your channel is not getting bigger? Your channel is totally awesome, I can see your dedication to introduce Japan from ramen perspective, and you already did that consistently since few years back. This is something that not all food reviewer can do.
Thanks for this, been a while on this series! Yeah definitely did not expect santouka to be from this region. Had always associate shoyu with Asahikawa!
@@katrinlausch3078 well a nice compilation of his top couple places to see around would help, lots of other RUclipsrs have released info about changes in japan which have been really helpful. No one’s done a ramen update
Right - plz feel free to check out the existing Tokyo videos but maybe I can do a Japan reopening video like everyone else, but from a ramen angle (things that changed after COVID as well).
Hi Frank! I'm finally visiting Tokyo again after 3 years! Do you have any recommendations for Tonkotsu ramen in Tokyo? I love Muteppou, Tanaka Shoten, Mutekiya and Ramen Kokugikan. Was wondering if there were others worth trying. Thanks!
Hey hey - I'm sure you're more than excited to be coming back! It sounds like you've already visited a lot of the great tonkotsu ramen spots in Tokyo too. I'm personally more of a lighter tonkotsu ramen guy (like a Hakata style) but Kanaya and Umaiyo are great if you're craving a heavier bowls like at Muteppou or Mutekiya: www.5amramen.com/post/ramen-kanaya-tonkotsu-ramen www.5amramen.com/post/umaiyo-yuchan-tonkotsu-ramen

U make me wanna visit Japan just for a bowl of steaming hot Ramen in the snow clad cities ❤️
All I know is that they were all おいしい 🍜😋 Definitely looked like it was cold in Hokkaido
Yes and yes! Nothing better to beat those cold temperatures.
So cool you released a new Hokkaido vidéo! Thanks
Please release the other one before Christmas :) 🙏🏼 Arigato
Thanks for watching! Will definitely be releasing before Christmas 🎄

Thanks for saying that...really nice to hear 😃. Will keep the ramen specific content coming regardless and thanks for watching too!
Looks delicious and so warming and filling. Keep the videos coming.
The ramen is all the above, as you mentioned! Will do - finally getting back on RUclips 😃
I've been looking forward to this video. I actually laughed out loud at the finance body comment!
Lol. Glad that part made you chuckle 😃
It’s good to hear from you happy Halloween

めっちゃ美味そう。来年あたり行ってみたいなあ。
美味しかったです!
Hey Frank! Hope you are well. Love your videos.
I'm great! Busy now that the borders have reopened...but busy is good! Thanks for watching 😊
Great to see you back. Aoba looked the best to me.
Aoba was great! I loved the vibe I'm sure you would too.
Excellent information. I will be in Asahikawa for 2 days in January. I will eat at one of these guys.
Fantastic! Will have more for your Asahikawa list in the next video 😃
Thanks for this, been a while on this series! Yeah definitely did not expect santouka to be from this region. Had always associate shoyu with Asahikawa!
Japanese also would automatically think of shoyu when Asahikawa is mentioned! Yes, thanks for the wait too (the series)!
Frank, I tagged all these spots for when we are in Hokkaido! Looking forward to trying the ramen shipment we just got tonight!
Woohoo to both! Please enjoy 😃
Santouka looks like a nice modern place. It kinda carries over to the branches in Mitsuwa market that I’ve been to
Looks like they've been making sure there's consistency with that interior too!
You may release videos not very often but man are they well made
Hope to ramp up that video release speed! Thanks for the kind words and watching 😃
How about a video on best Tonkatsu ramen places in Tokyo ? anyway, keep up the good work Frank ;)
But he has plenty of videos in Tokyo including tonkotsu
Thanks for watching! I don't do as much tonkotsu in Tokyo but will be releasing a Fukuoka series again later on 😃
@@5AMRamen Can't wait 👀❤

Last time we visited Hokkaido I think we just drove through Asahikawa. I believe you've given me at least 3 reasons to stop next time 🍜🍜🍜😁
Haha, there you go. Hopefully another 2 reasons after the next video (also in Asahikawa).

Want the pork bone soup !
Got your name on it!
Noticeable fish flavor broth ? You mean fishy and unpleasant ?
I like fish so certainly not unpleasant for me...can't speak for others tho!
