Off Jimmy Eat World's RSD Release 7 inch I do not own the rights to this song. All credit to Jimmy Eat World. This video was made for educational purposes.
Radiohead is one of the best bands for variance. A beginning with rock and an end with music, so people can enjoy both or one or the other if they feel it necessary I love the lead's voice in this.
Really, really wish this song was available in non-muffled quality. I mean, don't get me wrong...I really, really don't want to sound like an ingrate...thank you for uploading this song at all, otherwise I would have no way of hearing it whatsoever. But this and every other version available sound like they were ripped in a flawed fashion from the vinyl, which gives the audio effect of a low quality mp3, where everything is muted, the bassline is a distant thrum, and the the whacking of the drums ends up sounding very dead. Through all of that, I can still hear a great cover of a brilliant band, and it's of a song that seems CUSTOM. FUCKING. DESIGNED. for them (at least around SP/.Clarity era, this is a song that was custom designed for those guitar's and Jim's voice. Sc such, as now I long to hear it in it's "as it was recorded' quality. If Anyone stumbles upon it before me, please let me know, and I will certainly share here as soon as I have found my holy grail
@@jackstark211 I have to go back over my drive now and find it, but I did eventually find [and rip] a still not perfect, but improved quality version on another site, a dailymotion or some such. Once I find it, I'll link you to it. I've also, believe it or not, considered purchasing the single and just doing it myself, BUT...someone was telling me the version with "Whispering" on it was only available on Vinyl, which--if true--could present some trickiness as far as generating a decent MP3. Hopefully I can find a disc variant out there--shame it's not digitally available alongside the rest of their stuff.
It’s from a record store day release… it was a 7” that had their first single from the album Damage and this song was on the B side. Great cover. Not to takeaway anything from Radiohead, but this is Jimmy Eat World’s song and they own it. Good song made even better.
I'm glad someone finally gave attention to the most horrendously underrated Radiohead song.
First ever Radiohead cover to be ever so nearly as good as the original.
Congrats lads.
I realize it is kind of off topic but do anybody know a good website to watch newly released series online ?
its almost like this song was written for Jimmy Eat World

That’s the beauty of Jimmy… you’ll only hear what they decide to give you. The wait pays off big.

Want a cookie? Not an achievement or anything.
Great song, by the way.
Wow, the auto-tune is VERY apparent, it sounds like he’s doing it on purpose
this almost sounds like static prevails era stuff
This very well might have been what they were listening to back in those days.
anyone got a download link for this?
No prob! A solid cover needs to be herd :p
Moo?
is this from the vinyl?
is there a better quality version
this sounds just like radiohead in the beginning

probably one of radioheads worst song (not a bad song, but this is eh, and all there other stuff is amazing) but nice cover
Honestly: I think the song is better suited for Jimmy Eat World than it is for Radiohead.
EEEEEEEEHHHHHH....My ears bleed every time I hear somebody trying to sing Thom Yorke. No disrespect Mr. Jimmy but not good.
